Skin1004 Hyalu-Cica Silky-Fit Sun Stick is a sunscreen that blocks UV rays, while simultaneously hydrating the skin. Leaves skin with a moisturized, silky finish. It has an unique combination of Centella Asiatica Extract and Hyaluronic Acid which heals and hydrates the skin.
I won a Skin1004 Hyalu-Cica Silky-Fit Sun Stick in a giveaway and was really happy to incorporate it into my skincare routine. After emptying Benton Mineral Sun Stick SPF50 PA++++, Tocobo Cotton Soft Sun Stick SPF 50+ PA++++ and ACWELL Dermild Airy Sun Control Stick SPF 50+ PA++++ so far, I felt that sun sticks worked pretty well as an additional UV protection prior to my regular sunscreen.

"1004" pronounced in Korean sounds the same way as the word “Angel” “천사” or “Cheon-Sa” to be exact hence Skin1004 is also known as "Skin Angels”
Packaging, Scent and Texture
Skin1004 Hyalu-Cica Silky-Fit Sun Stick is a 20g product in a rounded stick format where you just twist the dial at the bottom in order to push up the sun stick balm for use. Infused with chia seed extract, the sun stick has a naturally derived blue hue without using artificial colorants. It has no scent, and the smooth silicone texture glides well on skin.
How To Use :
1) Turn the dial on the bottom of the sun stick to raise the product contents to a suitable amount (approx. 5mm).
2) Glide the stick evenly over the face and other areas that require sun protection (face and/or body). 3) When applying over makeup, gently tap it into your skin.l something is definitely sitting in my skin.
Performance and Ingredients
This is my first foray into Skin1004 products after hearing so much about them on Instagram. Hyalu-Cica Silky-Fit Sun Stick is said to contain a sweat-resistant and oil-control formula. Its soft texture spreads smoothly on the skin, leaving behind a silky finish without any stickiness.
While the sun stick has a velvety smooth finishing with a subtle powdery feel, it looked slightly greasy on my combination skin and stung occasionally in the initial stages.
With its sweat-resistant and oil-control properties, its perfect for my working days as I don't have to dab the oil on my T-zone like before, ever since I have been using it as a base before my regular sunscreen application.
Do note that I normally don't use sun sticks as reapplication as I am iffy on using products on top of my dirty face.
In terms of ingredients, Pure Centella Asiatica calms sensitive skin and enhances its natural resilience by supporting the skin barrier. The unique blend of Centella Asiatica Extract and Hyaluronic Acid works harmoniously to heal and hydrate the skin simultaneously. Blue Agave gently smoothens dead skin cells, while Porous Polymer contributes to smoother, silkier skin.
Skin1004 Hyalu-Cica Silky-Fit Sun Stick has been tested at SkinMed Clinical Trial Center Ltd, verified to be SPF 54 +/- 3.7 and UVAPF 17.5 +/- 2.2.
SPF 50 sunscreens protect you from 98 percent of UVB "burning" rays that penetrate your skin, while PA++++ sunscreens provide extremely high UVA protection.
On a label, the letters "PA" followed by plus signs represent a rating system developed in Japan to represent the amount of UVA protection the product provides.
This is what each PA rating means:
PA+ = Some UVA protection.
PA++ = Moderate UVA protection.
PA+++ = High UVA protection.
PA++++ = Extremely High UVA protection.

Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate : A new generation, chemical sunscreen agent with high UVA protection and high photostability. Also known as Uvinul A Plus.
Polysilicone-15 : A chemical sunscreen agent with UVB protection. It also help to stabilize the famously unstable UVA filter, avobenzone and works especially well with Ensulizole to achieve high SPF protection. Also known as Parsol SLX.
Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine : A broad-spectrum ( full UVA and UVB protection ) chemical sunscreen agent which is also known as Tinosorb S. Hardly deteriorates in the presence of UV.
Ethylhexyl Triazone : A new generation, chemical sunscreen that gives the highest photo-stable absorption of all available UVB filters today. Also known as Octyl Triazone and Uvinul T 150.

Conclusion
To conclude, Skin1004 Hyalu-Cica Silky-Fit Sun Stick has a velvety smooth finishing with a subtle powdery feel but looked slightly greasy on my combination skin and stung occasionally in the initial stages.
However, it is perfect for work with its sweat-resistant and oil-control properties as I didn't see the need to dab off the oil on my T-zone, as I usually do.
