Product Description
Reverse signs of aging around the eye area with Tocobo Collagen Brightening Eye Gel Cream enriched with 81% lavender flower water. It’s infused with retinol and 1,000ppm of plant-based collagen to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, as well as 1,000ppm of panthenol to replenish moisture in skin.
Thanks to a Stylekorean collaboration which has given me a chance to try out another Tocobo product, after emptying Tocobo Bio Watery Sun Cream SPF50+ PA++++ and Tocobo Cotton Soft Sun Stick.
I don't have much luck with eye creams in general but I will still continue to use them, as my undereye area really do deserve some tender loving care.
Packaging, Scent and Texture
Tocobo Collagen Brightening Eye Gel Cream is packaged in a charming pink and purple clear tube with 30ml contents that can be dispensed easily via the solid nozzle dispenser. It has one of the lightest texture I have ever tried, with a strong lavender fragrance and a hint of tackiness as well as some sparkles in it.
Soothing and cooling, it felt more so, after taking it out from the fridge and can be a delightful sensorial experience in our humid climate.
How To Use :
1. Cooling Eye Massage
Spread it around your eyes (orbital bone), gently tap and massage until fully absorbed.
2. Smile Line Wrinkle Care
Tip! This cream can also be used on other areas like stubborn fine lines and wrinkles. Take an appropriate amount, gently massage to get absorbed.
3. Sleeping Night Care
Apply a generous amount on eye area as your last skincare step to revive tired under eye skin.
Performance and Ingredients
Tocobo Collagen Brightening Eye Gel Cream helps boost the vitality and elasticity of the skin around the eyes with 81% lavender flower water. It features dual network system to form a barrier, delivering rich moisture and active ingredients. Contains vegetable collagen and retinol to help reduce the appearance of wrinkles and formulated with Quartz Water and niacinamide to help brighten the skin.
The cream is hypo-allergenic and is a vegan eye cream made of only vegetable ingredients
Despite being touted as a gel cream, it feels more like an eye gel than a cream. It absorbed pretty quickly and can be refreshing and cooling when stored in the fridge before application.
Unfortunately, I didn't see any spectacular difference to my undereye area after 2 months of regular usage. The texture was also too lightweight for my preference and needs.
The key ingredients are...

AC Vegetable Collagen PF 1,000ppm for skin lifting, moisturizing.

Conclusion
To conclude, Tocobo Collagen Brightening Eye Gel Cream didn't work out for me. I didn't see any spectacular difference to my undereye area after 2 months of regular usage.
