I received both Dear Klairs Fundamental Eye Awakening Gel and Fundamental Nourishing Eye Butter from a Wishtrend collaboration sometime back and has been using them for several months.
Some of my favourite Klairs products are Dear Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Sheet Mask, Dear Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner and Dear Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Charging Serum.
Packaging, Scent and Texture
Dear Klairs Fundamental Eye Awakening Gel is housed in a 35ml clear bottle with a press-down dispenser. Clear in colour with a refreshing lightweight gel texture, it has a subtle tackiness and takes about 5-10 minutes before it absorbed into skin. There was no fragrance detected but has a naturally occurring scent.
How To Use :
1) Apply toner after cleansing.
2) At your essence step, pump the Eye Awakening Gel 1/2 time and spread around your eyes, dabbing gently to help them absorb.
3) Finish your routine with a moisturizer.
Performance and Ingredients
Dear Klairs Fundamental Eye Awakening Gel is a lightweight gel formula that contains both caffeine and red bean extract to provide anti-aging benefits, brighten dark undereye circles, as well as reduce inflammation and puffiness. Argan oil and jojoba seed oil hydrate, while green tea extract helps to soothe.
The gel’s cool and hydrating texture provides a refreshing finish and quickly absorbs leaving a smooth finish, so makeup application is a breeze. Suitable for normal, dry and combination skin types. This product is vegan and cruelty-free, and formulated without artificial fragrance, artificial color, parabens, alcohol, mineral oil, essential oil and silicone.
I love the promising ingredients and looked forward to using this eye awakening gel, however, the cooling and refreshing lightweight clear gel texture came across as alittle too light for my preference.
While the tackiness upon application get absorbed into skin within 10 minutes, leaving a smooth undereye area and a subtle depuffing, it stung in the initial usages which isn't a good experience. Using it over 3 months didn't yield any spectacular results too.

To conclude, Dear Klairs Fundamental Eye Awakening Gel isn't the ideal eye product for me, as I have to battle with fine lines and eye bags on a regular basis and this product didn't yield any spectacular results for me.
