Product Description
Focusing on the newly-found melanin production function, this super-light daytime whitening essence from WHITELOGIST to protect the skin against the UV-rays while brightening it.
Blocks UV-rays, preventing sun-related spots and freckles, and keeping un-activated melanocyte (ie. virgin melanocyte) from being activated. And focusing on the spots-forming or spots-appearing process, it acts on tyrosinase to prevent tyrosine (cause of spots) from turning into brown-colored melanin.
Contains 2 different kinds of UV absorbents to protect skin from UV-rays. Highly moisturizing emulsion base helps it blend easily into skin, penetrating deeply into the keratin layer.
The result is moisturized skin all day long.
This was a GWP from a magazine and at 9ml, I was surprised that it could last me for more than 2 months. I have yet to finish the whole tube but the expiry date is getting nearer so a review is inevitable.
I like this Made in Japan essence, from the first moment I used it. It comes in an opaque bottle with a squirt dispenser that dispenses just the right amount for my whole face. The whole packaging from the box to the bottle looks luxe to me, which fits the image of Cosme Decorte as their products are known to be expensive.
It has a light rose fragrance which smells really sweet and nice. With a lightweight texture that is similar to a lotion, it sinks into the skin rapidly, leaving a comfortable sensation in its place. Even though it does contain a tiny amount of SPF, the essence hardly feels greasy.
This essence is to be used before a moisturiser and is supposed to provide light sun protection and against UVA and UVB rays. At SPF12 and PA+, this product cannot be taken as a sunscreen protection product but as an additional layer of protection only. Please be reminded to use your regular sunscreen.
In Japan, it uses SPF rating to measure UVB (B for burning) and uses PA classification to measure the protection grade of UVA (A for aging).
In general :
PA+ - provides some UVA protection
PA++ - provides moderate UVA protection
PA+++ - provides good UVA protection
Unfortunately, I don't have the ingredient list because its not in my trial pack but SPF12 with PA+ is not that useful in our humid country. Treat it as a whitening essence, will do.
As a whitening essence which I have been using for more than 2 months, I have yet to see a significant improvement to my dark spots on my cheeks but I do feel that my overall skin tone appears more even and more radiant when I am using it.
