I used this spray some time back and stopped using it when it was giving me a greasy mop of hair. Recently, I went back to using it again.
Being Paraben Free, Polysorbate Free, Disodium EDTA Free and Sodium Laureth / Lauryl Sulfate Free, EO products are also not tested on animals and do not use synthetic fragrance, only pure essential oil. They are not cheap too, I bought this for $20 from Dragon D'or at People's Park. A relatively quiet store, without many people, however the owner will try to promote their products but nothing aggressive.
The dark blue opaque bottle is difficult to peer thru, and I got the impression that its a clear liquid until I decant over to a smaller bottle for office use and realized that its a murky beige colour. It just looks oily.
The nozzle is typically common and works fairly well. It comes out in bursts and leave the hair in droplets of murky beige colour after each spray. It disappeared soon enough, as how water droplets do. It has a nice lavender scent but it does not linger on the hair.
As with all hair styling products and leave-on conditioners, I sprayed it from mid-length to the ends. I really like the nourishing ingredients for the hair but I realized my mistake after decanting it to a smaller bottle for usage in the office. The mixture is just incorrect, giving me a bad mop of greasy hair.
After using the smaller decanted bottle, the end result is a mop of dirty hair that looked limp and flat on the fringe and crown of the head.
Using a light hand, you get the mop of greasy hair after 8 hours. With a heavy hand, you get the greasy hair within 4 hours. Its THAT hateful.
After reverting back to my original bottle, this detangler spray was much better to use.
No greasy state or limp and flat hair. It accentuate the curls on my hair, but you need a heavy hand with the spray. Hair is softer and moisturised but frizziness still remains.
Since its also touted as a detangling spray, it should work to detangle the hair, isn't it? I tried spraying on my tangled hair generously but it only made it wet and slightly oily but does nothing else.
