Shangpree eye masks has been gaining traction on Instagram for awhile so when I was in Korea, I took the chance to haul some back as it was relatively cheaper. If I remembered correctly, the price in Korea for this eye mask as compared to the prices from Singapore stores and international online stores can be quite discerning.
Every box comes with an authenticity checker ( in the form of a sticker ) where you can check if the product is genuine by scanning the QR code or place a magnet to it.
Peel off the authenticity sticker on the packaging and you can see a QR code ( scan it with your phone ) which brings you to a website to acknowledge if the product is genuine.
Based on the security code found on the product, it would determine if your product is genuine which mine is!
Packaging, Scent and Texture
Similar to
Shangpree Marine Energy Eye Mask, Shangpree Ginseng Berry Eye Mask comes in a round tub with 60 individual pieces ( 30 pairs ), all stacked upon each other. There is a spatula provided to pick up each piece for use.
The maroon coloured crescent moon-shaped hydrogel material is glooey, slippery and flimsy so pick the pieces with care. They crumble and tear easily if your nails happen to pierce them while rearranging them on your undereye area.
The scent was alittle strong for my likes but thankfully it dissipates shortly after application.
How To Use
1. Cleanse and tone your skin.
2. Take out the masks with the enclosed spatula and place on the areas you desire.
3. Leave on for about 20 to 30 minutes.
4. Remove the masks. No need to rinse.
Performance and Ingredients
These Shangpree Ginseng Berry Eye Masks are cold and refreshing and lasted for quite awhile ( due to the hydrogel material ), even up to 1 hour where the patches would get much thinner and its time to dispose them. The recommended duration is 20 - 30 minutes but I usually layer them for up to 1 hour.
Since the essence is usually found at the bottom of the tub, the bottom stack of the eye masks are usually much wetter than the upper stack hence making the patches more slippery leading them to slide down ever so easily on the undereye area during application. Pretty annoying, to be honest.
You would be glad to know that Shangpree Ginseng Berry Eye Mask can be used in a variety of ways - on the undereye area, along the laugh lines, round the neck and even inbetween the brows! Certainly makes it a travel friendly option as well as a value-for-money purchase where you can just bring 1 tub and solve most concerns.
My concerns are mainly on the undereye area so all 30 pairs of eye masks were used there. These eye masks are great to depuff the undereye area slightly, making my eyes look less tired. You can also pop the masks in the fridge for a better depuffing effect.
Enriched with a powerful, antioxidant-rich berry blend including Cherry, Raspberry and Cranberry to defend against environmental aggressors, the treatment also uses Vitamin C and Evening Primrose to smooth out the appearance of wrinkles for an anti-ageing effect. Omega-6 fatty acids and Ginseng work in harmony to soothe any irritation or redness, creating a bright, balanced and youthful eye area.
The main ingredient is Ginseng Extract which contains phytonutrients to stimulate the very cells of the skin to contract naturally so as to help the skin fight back the effects of premature aging by reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Other ingredients like Berry and Peony Complexes serve to encourage production of collagen and heal the skin in the process. Their combined antioxidant properties help to reduce the appearance of eye bags and dark circles.

Conclusion
To conclude, Shangpree Ginseng Berry Eye Mask contains pretty good ingredients and would be a great daily maintenance for those suffering from regular puffiness. They helped to depuff the area slightly and eyes looked less tired, however for someone who suffered from perpetually dry undereye area filled with fine lines and eye bags, I need something stronger.
