This is my first foray into the brand Briogeo. Their products are known to be 100% cruelty-free, with no harsh sulfates, silicones, parabens, phthalates, DEA or artificial dyes. You can read more about the brand story here.

Packaging, Scent and Texture
Made in USA, Briogeo Don't Despair, Repair Deep Conditioning Mask comes in a tube for the travel sized I owned and in a tub for the full retail size. It has a nice shea butter floral-like fragrance which is strong initially but eases off after awhile.
How To Use :
1) After shampooing, massage into the hair, ensuring the conditioner is evenly applied.
2) Leave in for 5-10 minutes before rinsing.
OR For even deeper conditioning, cover the hair in a plastic cap to retain moisture while sitting under a dryer for 30 minutes, then rinse.
Performance and Ingredients
A 29ml travel sized Briogeo Don't Despair, Repair Deep Conditioning Mask lasted me for about 7 - 8 times as I have thick long hair and I usually applied on the hair ends.
Each hair colouring job would make my hair dry and straw-like for the first week hence I prefer to nourish my hair 2 days after the job. You can use the deep conditioning mask twice weekly or as a weekly treatment. Add on a dryer for a deeper conditioning treatment.
For most times, the conditioning mask was on my hair ends for about 5 minutes as I didn't like waiting in the bathroom for up to 10 minutes. The difference to my hair after the masking wasn't that great.
On other days, I used it before shampoo-ing, so that I can drag the time longer - 20 minutes or even up to 45 minutes and that is when I feel the difference to my hair condition. I have not tried using it together with a dryer because I don't own a dryer at home.
The mask made my hair softer, smoother and less tangled.

In conclusion, Briogeo Don't Despair, Repair Deep Conditioning Mask has 98% naturally derived ingredients and may appeal to a certain audience. It made my hair softer, smoother and less tangled when used for a longer period of time, however it would not be a repurchase for me as I still prefer Alterna Caviar Repair Fill and Fix Treatment Masque which does a better job for my dry hair ends.
