Innisfree My Real Squeeze Mask EX ( Tea Tree ) is a water type sheet mask, using 100% natural sheet made of cellulose of eucalyptus tree which is said to be sturdier than other mask sheets and adheres to skin thinly and transparently to help deliver serum more effectively.

The tea tree fragrance does not really remind me of tea tree and I do not really fancy the fragrance but it is still bearable. The cutting is great and fits my cherubic face shape perfectly. It has an easy peel design where there are 2 "handles" aka kitten ears at both top sides of the sheet mask which helps to make it easier for one to apply and peel it off.

Innisfree uses the ‘Cold Brew Squeeze Process’, which extracts ingredients slowly at low temperatures and ensures that the full nutrients are completely absorbed into the skin. After a 20 minutes session, the pimple on my chin seemed visibly calmed and my skin felt smoother. However, the hydration ability was rather poor as my make-up did not glide on as well as it should, on hydrated skin.

In terms of ingredients, Innisfree My Real Squeeze Mask EX ( Tea Tree ) contains Melalecua Alternifolia ( Tea Tree ) Leaf Extract as the key ingredient where it is known to have skin-soothing properties and is also an antioxidant. For improving skin concerns such as breakouts, tea tree oil concentrations of 2.5% to 10% are recommended. However, the amount present in most skincare products is usually less than 1%, as higher amounts impart a strong scent many people find intolerable, not to mention these higher amounts increase tea tree oil’s potential to sensitize and redden skin.

Innisfree My Real Squeeze Mask EX ( Green Tea ) is a water-type mask and is made up of the same sheet material ( cellulose of eucalyptus tree ) as that of the Tea Tree variant where it is thin and sheer. It adheres pretty well to skin, with a good cutting that fits my face shape, and 2 "handles" at the top of the mask for easy application and removal.

The same 'Cold Brew Squeeze Process’ is used, which extracts ingredients slowly at low temperatures and ensures that the full nutrients are completely absorbed into the skin. The subtle green tea scent is soothing and makes it a great masking session.

After 20 minutes of masking, my skin turned soft and supple, smoother to the touch and looked brighter!


In terms of ingredients, Innisfree My Real Squeeze Mask EX ( Green Tea ) contains Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract as the key ingredient where it is commonly known as the green tea extract. It shows good antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. There is a proven study demonstrating that green tea-containing cosmetic formulations have pronounced moisturizing effects and improve skin microrelief.

Between Tea Tree and Green Tea variant, I do highly recommend Green Tea for a more effective result.
