I visited All About You during my last trip to Bangkok and purchased several beauty products from the shop and one of them was Plantstory Cherry Tomato Bioganic Cream Mask which I initially thought was a rinse-off mask.
Its not the first time I have been duped into thinking that such overnight masks are rinse-off masks as
seeing them being termed as "mask" just made me think its a rinse-off mask. If its an overnight mask, shouldn't it be coined as such or at least contain the word "night"? Its also my fault that I have never bother to check the usage instructions.
I was misled by Biotherm Life Plankton Mask, Sulwhasoo Radiance Energy Mask and 5erenity2 Renew Mask previously but I ended up loving the Sulwhasoo and 5erenity2 so its still not so bad! Its just that I have no use for overnight masks in Singapore as I generally prefer to use overnight masks when I am overseas.
Seeing that I have no chance to travel due to the pandemic, I decided to use Plantstory Cherry Tomato Bioganic Cream Mask for the past couple of months.
Packaging, Scent and Texture
I was attracted to the pink and white packaging when I first laid my eyes on them in the shop and thought the actual product would have a similar feminine vibe. However, the 45g tub was a sturdy frosted plastic tub with a wooden brown lid instead. It was much beautiful than I expected with a calm soothing minimalistic impression.
A 45g size isn't large but the box and tub packaging made it seem like its a 100ml size instead. Without the information, you probably can't tell its so tiny.
It has a strong floral fragrance so it may not be the best fit for everyone, especially those who are allergic to fragrances. Light pink-orange in colour, the cream mask has a soft creamy lightweight texture.
How To Use :
1) Apply appropriate amount of cream mask onto face and neck.
2) Gently spread the product with your palms and massage across face, forehead, chin and neck.
3) Deeply inhale the natural scent of product while applying for relaxing and calming sensation.
4) Leave it overnight for your natural beautiful morning.
Tips : Put the mask cream in the refrigerator before use. To add freshness and relaxation to the skin

Performance and Ingredients
Made in Thailand, Plantstory Cherry Tomato Bioganic Cream Mask combines 100% Pure Plant Essence with Cherry Tomato extracts to protect skin from environmental pollution, prevent loss of moisture from skin and help slow down the aging process.
Dermatologically tested and suitable for all skin types, the product is non comedogenic and non-irritating with no parabens, SLS/SLES, mineral oil or harsh chemicals.
While I adore the light creamy texture, the initial usage was eventful as I started to get zits on the chin from the 5th night onwards which was when I skipped my regular moisturiser and use it after US On Earth 6-Effector Soft Marine Water Essence. My T-zone also started to get oily after 3 - 4 hours. I concluded that the moisture was insufficient causing the skin to overproduce oil to compensate for the lack of moisture, hence leading to the zits.
On optimal skin condition, Plantstory Cherry Tomato Bioganic Cream Mask works beautifully. I prefer to use it in place of my night moisturizer and it works just like a regular moisturiser as it absorbed fully into skin leaving my skin so smooth, soft, supple and hydrated with each use.
There is no stickiness or greasiness. And I like it when it is paired with a lighter serum such as Huxley Secret Of Sahara Grab Water Essence or Iunik Black Snail Restore Serum because such combination works the best for my skin type.
This overnight cream mask lasted me for about 6 months as I didn't use it every night, hence it may affect the ability to experience a brighter complexion. And since it contains mild exfoliation, I tend to skip this product whenever I am using a chemical exfoliant, physical scrub or deep cleansing masks to avoid over-drying my skin.

Cherry Tomato extract : Widely known as a remedy for skin dullness problems, cheery tomato is rich in AHA and lycopene which is known for its antioxidants and brightening properties that helps to reduce the appearance of dark spots and skin dullness. It is also full of vitamin A, C, E and K that help to reduce skin inflammation and scarring. Your skin appears clearer, brighter and has a radiance from within.
Artichoke Leaf extract : Also known as Biobenefity, it has unique genes lock technology due to its high concentration of antioxidants and nutrients, rids of toxins and promotes healthy cell generation which helps reduce the signs of aging, prevent skin collagen loss and minimize noticeable pores.
Organic Chamomile extract : Contains anti-inflammatory properties to reduce skin irritation.
