Nature's Care Paw Paw Lip Balm Review
Product Description
Perfect for all ages, Nature's Care All Natural Paw Paw Lip Balm is made from a combination of paw paw extract, papaya seed oil, sunflower seed oil, castor seed oil, shea butter, beeswax and other natural ingredients. This lip balm doesn’t contain any petrochemicals. It will leave your lips moisturised with a delicate hint of gloss and with a natural, refreshing fragrance.

I purchased Nature's Care Paw Paw Lip Balm from Priceline during a trip to Australia some time back which took me a while to finally use it as I haven't been wearing lip balms with the current mandatory mask-wearing.

The Nature’s Care story began in 1990 when the company founder and managing director, Jina started researching and creating natural remedies to help cure her father’s persistent seasonal cough. After weeks, her father’s persistent cough eased and his overall health improved dramatically.

From that moment, Jina decided that if the best was good enough for her family, then it should be available to all families. With this mission, Jina set about establishing a natural health business that could benefit all. Nature’s Care Australia was born. Today, Nature’s Care products are distributed all over the world from the company’s Australian manufacturing plant, 30km North of Sydney. Nature’s Care products are popular in the USA, Canada, China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Thailand, and throughout Australia.

Nature's Care Paw Paw Lip Balm reminded me vaguely of the widely popular Lucas Papaw Ointment which I absolutely adored for its effectiveness on flaky skin so I was looking forward to using this lip balm. So how does it work? Lets delve in....

Packaging, Scent and Texture

Nature's Care Paw Paw Lip Balm Texture

Nature's Care Paw Paw Lip Balm comes in a 10g tube with a slanted tip for easy lip application. Unfortunately, it has a musty scent from the first day of usage which I absolutely dislike, but since I don't like to waste products, I would continue to use it. The texture is thick, sticky and slightly greasy with an oily emollient feel.

How To Use :
For maximum effect apply a thin coat frequently during the day and last thing at night. Discontinue if irritation occurs. For external use only.

Performance and Ingredients

Made in Australia, Nature's Care Paw Paw Lip Balm comes in a box packaging with the lip balm contained in it. This is an improved formula with a lip applicator unlike its original version which comes in a tube.

Said to naturally soothe and protect dry chapped lips, this lip balm is petrochemical-free and is completely all-natural. The texture is thick and sticky with a slightly greasy emollient feel.

It doesn't really glide on the lips, due to its thick emollient texture, so I just have to squeeze the tube and made blobs of balm across the lips, then use the slanted tip to spread the balm over, if you know what I meant.

The sticky balm never seem to get absorbed into the skin and just stay on top of it, leaving my lips sticky and unpleasant. That said, I do like the glossy finishing which made my lips look healthier and less dry.

In terms of its moisturizing capability, it is as long lasting as the lip balm is still on the lips. Once its gone, then you have to reapply it.

Ricinus communis( Castor) Seed Oil, Helianthus annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Beeswax(Cera Alba), Sorbitan Olivate (Plant Derived), Hydrogenated Castor Oil(Plant Derived), Silica, Carica papaya(Paw Paw) Seed Oil, Paw Paw Flavour, Tocopherol

Where To Purchase : Shopee

Conclusion

To conclude, I don't fancy the musty scent and the sticky finishing so it won't be a repurchase. However, I do like the glossy finishing making my lips look healthier and sexier.
