The JS Fukkurinko Rice Essence is a special product containing 4 types of rice extract from Hokkaido! The rice extracts, oryza sativa (rice), bran extract, rice ferment filtrate (sake), oryza sativa (rice) bran oil and glycosphingolipids are made from 100% Japanese rice. Truly the perfect item to achieve glowing, radiant skin even without makeup!

I purchased Hokkaido Fukkurinko Sakekasu Face Pack and Fukkurinko Rice Essence Pack late last year in Don Don Donki, when they were on sale. 

For the uninitiated, Fukkurinko is a quality rice developed in southern Hokkaido, popular for its fluffy texture. Rice is said to be rich in minerals (zinc, magnesium), amino acids, Vitamins (B and C) and antioxidants. The Research Institute for Medicines has suggested that rice can help to inhibit the activity of elastase [an enzyme that damages elastin] making it an anti-aging powerhouse.

Made in Japan, Fukkurinko Rice Essence Pack is manufactured by Toyo Beauty It is housed in a 195g squeezy soft pouch with a plastic nozzle for easy dispensing. The texture is like blobs of rice with a refreshing, cooling feel and has no detectable fragrance.

I won a Skin1004 Hyalu-Cica Silky-Fit Sun Stick in a giveaway and was really happy to incorporate it into my skincare routine. After emptying Benton Mineral Sun Stick SPF50 PA++++, Tocobo Cotton Soft Sun Stick SPF 50+ PA++++ and ACWELL Dermild Airy Sun Control Stick SPF 50+ PA++++ so far, I felt that sun sticks worked pretty well as an additional UV protection prior to my regular sunscreen.

Skin1004 Hyalu-Cica Silky-Fit Sun Stick is a 20g product in a rounded stick format where you just twist the dial at the bottom in order to push up the sun stick balm for use. Infused with chia seed extract, the sun stick has a naturally derived blue hue without using artificial colorants. It has no scent, and the smooth silicone texture glides well on skin.

Ever since I started working, my grey hairs have been increasing, and now I need to color my hair every 4-6 weeks. My peers are experiencing the same thing. However, I still have a few friends my age who only color their hair when they feel like it, as their greys are sparse and infrequent. Lucky them!

So when I chanced upon these color shampoos that claim to be a fuss-free way to make your greys less noticeable, I leaped at the chance and purchased 2 bottles during a sale.

Rishiri Color Shampoo is housed in a 200ml green opaque bottle with a flick top cap. Even though I chose dark brown, the colour appeared to be almost black so it was the right choice to choose dark brown since black colour can be too dark on mine.

There is not much of a scent and the consistency felt more like a thick concentrated kind of shampoo contents.

The Aubree Artemisia Daily Sunscreen SPF 50 PA++++ is a chemical sunscreen with a cool sensation, light texture and absorbs quickly. It protects while helping reduce excess oil and relieve redness.

Highly recommended for oily and/or acne-prone skin.

I purchased The Aubree Artemisia Daily Sunscreen SPF 50 PA++++ from Sociolla at Batam, Indonesia some time back. Always keen to try out local beauty products in the country I am travelling to. 

Packaging, Scent and Texture

The Aubree Artemisia Daily Sunscreen SPF 50 PA++++ is a 30ml slim tube product with a minimalistic design vibe. Brown tube with white contents, it has an unbelievable light lotion texture that is such a joy to use, dispensed via a nozzle. There is a subtle floral fragrance.

The plastic tube is so pliable that I can roll/fold it to squeeze out the remaining contents when they are nearing the end. 

[ Review ] Hadaomoi Suhada Stem Cell Face Mask

 

Product Description

Hadaomoi Suhada Stem Cell Face Mask is a luxurious blend of human stem cell ingredients (moisturizing ingredients) and other topic ingredients such as fermented collagen, retinol derivatives, coenzyme Q1O and astaxanthin. The 100% natural cotton mask that is gentle on the skin has a close feeling of tightness that leads to bouncy skin with a refreshing sense of transparency.

I haven't bought sheet masks in a long time because of sustainability concerns. However, my husband found a Japanese Hadaomoi Suhada stem cell mask pack at Don Don Donki and wanted to give it a try. 

The pack contains 30 sheet masks stacked together.

The size is small, feels refreshing and there is no fragrance. It adheres very fittingly to skin, so much so that my mouth couldn't open. The sheet mask on the philtrum area were uneven across the 30 sheet masks where some were so thin that they were almost non-existence. And there is a gap between nose to cheeks. 

The sheet mask hydrates skin moderately well ( rough areas on nose gone ), except for a subtle taut sensation on the philtrum, 5 minutes after removing the mask. 

It contains tonnes of natural ingredients extracted from the placenta. These stem cells (placenta) are said to help regenerate new cells, repair damaged cells, and work on even the most sensitive skin.

Conclusion

To conclude, Hadaomoi Suhada Stem Cell Face Mask isn't the best fit for me, as it left a subtle taut sensation on the philtrum, however it hydrates moderately well on other areas where the rough areas on my nose were gone. 

It will not be a repurchase for me.
