Being a mask lover, I was excited to try out Axis-y New Skin Resolution Gel Mask and Axis-y Green Vital Energy Complex Sheet Mask. Both of them are great for use on irritated skin days - choose between sheet mask or rinse-off mask!

How To Use :
1) After cleansing the face, apply an even layer onto dry skin while avoiding the immediate eye area and the mouth

Axis-y New Skin Resolution Gel Mask is a runny green gel mask filled with tiny heartleaf leaves in its contents. A tiny spatula is included but due to the runny and soft texture contents, the tiny spatula is not the easiest to use for scooping up the gel mask, as you need to scoop up several times ( for the whole face ) while trying not to drop the spatula back into the jar.
It took me awhile to get used to its fresh grass-like scent but with time, I appreciate how calming it was, as though you are in some green meadow fields. On the first use, there was a subtle odd stinging effect on skin but none detected subsequently.
The mask is cooling, refreshing and calming and helped to soothe and minimize redness and irritation. The effectiveness was proven on a day when my cheeks had some random red spots and after 10 minutes of masking, the redness was greatly reduced and my skin was calmed down. I also like that the mask brightened up my skin instantly and made it softer, smoother and moderately hydrated.

How To Use :
1) Unfold completely and place the mask onto cleansed and toned skin.
2) Remove the mask after 15-20 minutes and lightly massage the remaining essence until completely absorbed.
3) Follow up with a moisturizer if desired.
Tips : Use this mask whenever your skin feels irritated and needs a boost of energy. Apply before makeup. Put in fridge before application if you want an extra cooling effect. Do not wash off the essence after removing the sheet. Instead spread the remaining essence onto your neck, ears and the rest of the skin that needs that extra hydration.
Each box of Axis-y Green Vital Energy Complex Sheet Mask comes with 5 individually packed sheet masks in its beautiful clear bright green packaging. Green is the natural color of the extracts like Cabbage Leaf Extract, Spinach Leaf Extract, Broccoli Extract along with a large amount of Artemisia Capillaris Extract (61% to be exact). These natural superfood ingredients give the mask’s fiber its green hue.
Filled with 27ml of goodness in each sheet, Axis-y has formulate the perfect viscosity for the ampoule and serum to prevent the annoyance of liquid dripping off the mask during use. This formula minimizes inconvenience and promotes a firm, but moisturized feeling after use.
There is a subtle minty scent which smells like a mixture of Cica and Eucalyptus while the material is very soft and layers comfortably with a cooling and refreshing sensation on skin. The cutting fits and adheres well on my cherubic face shape and after a 20 minute masking session, my skin was visibly calmed and soothed as well as being plumped, hydrated, soft and smooth.
According to Axis-y, it is recommended that additional skincare steps can be omitted for those with oily skin or add 1 or 2 additional skincare products for those with dry skin. As for myself, I will usually add in my regular moisturizer after masking.
