I won E Nature Rice Essential Tone-Starter in a giveaway hosted by My Natural Story, but unfortunately, the product was 3 months away from expiry which was pretty short. To be honest, it wasn't a pleasant experience and I have given away another toner ( expiring in 2 months ) which I won together with this, since that was expiring soon. I can't possibly use 2 toners within 3 months, especially, when I still have other toners at home.
I have previously reviewed E Nature Bio-Zeup Sheet Mask which worked well for me and I can't wait to try this toner.
Packaging, Scent and Texture
E Nature Rice Essential Tone-Starter comes in a pretty 150ml frosted pump bottle that is sturdy and dispense the watery contents easily, although I do wonder why a pump dispenser was chosen for such runny contents.
The sub-acidic water formula has a pearly, rice water consistency that creates a moisture protection barrier to restore unbalanced pH levels while the light floral scent was cooling, calming and makes a pleasant experience during usage.
How To Use :
1) After cleansing the skin, pump a quarter sized amount onto the palms and gently tap onto the skin to promote absorption.
2) You can also pump an appropriate amount onto cotton pads and gently swipe across the skin, then follow up by patting gently to promote absorption.
Performance and Ingredients
E Nature Rice Essential Tone-Starter is a mild skin booster enriched with Rice extracts to brighten and hydrate skin for clear and radiant skin. It is formulated with Fermented Water of Rice Rinse Water, Niacinamide and Lactobacillus which offers bright, dewy complexion for dull, uneven skin tone.
The toner does not contain animal-derived ingredients, mineral oil, paraben, artificial fragrance, tar and dye. It is also vegan and cruelty-free.
I enjoyed using this toner so much! The texture is light, hydrating and brightens up my skin with consistent use. And if you apply the toner right after masking, you will see the glass skin effect - poreless, luminous, translucent, healthy skin!
That said, the texture isn't really light enough for the 7 layers method, where you apply the toner 7 times and using it as a DIY lotion mask made my skin red too, so the best way is to use it like a regular toner.

Lactobacillus Ferment : Helps repair the skin barrier and brightens the skin. Lactobacillus is a probiotic that will help provide the skin with a protective shield that prevents bad bacteria from reaching the skin.
Oryza Sativa (Rice) Extract : Rice is a traditional ingredient loved in Korea not only for dietary purposes, but also for their effective brightening and cleansing properties for skin. The fermented water of fermented rice water and Lactobacillus, together with the 45% Oryza Sativa (Rice) Extract, rewards you with a clear and moisturized, radiant complexion for dull and uneven skin.
Niacinamide : Also known as vitamin B3 and nicotinamide, niacinamide is a water-soluble vitamin that works with the natural substances in your skin to help visibly improve enlarged pores, uneven skin tone, fine lines and wrinkles, dullness and a weakened surface. Niacinamide also reduces the impact of environmental damage because of its ability to improve skin’s barrier (its first line of defense), plus it also plays a role in helping skin to repair signs of past damage.

Conclusion
To conclude, E Nature Rice Essential Tone-Starter is a nice hydrating toner and with regular use, I noticed skin brightening effects.
