I purchased a RNA Power Eye Set recently, where it comes with a 10ml RNA Power Radical New Age Cream. R.N.A stands for Radical New Age and this range contains a new ingredient known as
Pitera x Radical New Age Complex, which is said to work on skin cells at every layer of the skin to influence the healthy synthesis of protein, such as collagen and elastin that are essential for firm skin.
I had wanted to put the R.N.A.Power Radical New Age Cream to the 10 days test but unfortunately, the 10ml size only lasts me for 8 days. Still, the results have been pretty spot-on, though not immediately.
My first usage was unpleasant, as my skin turned itchy and slightly red when I paired it with Biotherm Aquasource Essence-In-Mist. I can only deduce that there was a conflict with the ingredients in both products. Subsequent usages have been pretty smooth, after I paired it with SKII Facial Treatment Essence.
The white cream looks creamy but is actually pretty lightweight in texture, perfect for use under Singapore's humid weather. It applies smoothly, absorbs instantly and has a comfortable sensation on skin.
I love how my skin felt, immediately after application. Soft, smooth and supple. Lasted all the way till the next wash. My face has a subtle glow in the morning, as if I have a very good sleep the night before.
Because of the glow, I can actually do away with make-up on most days as my redness was kept to a minimal. Note that, before I started on the R.N.A.Power Radical New Age Cream, I tend to apply VMV Hypoallergenics Skintangible "Faint"ation BBBB Cream just to keep my skin tone even-out and redness from the broken capillaries on my nose less obvious. However, since I started on the New Age Cream, my skin just looks so much better even without any make-up.
Unfortunately, I started to experience very slight flakiness around my nostrils by the 5th day. Somehow, Shea Butter just does not work well on my skin, failing to keep it hydrated, even for my hands ( I have used hand cream containing shea butter before, without any improvement to my dry hands ).
I believe adding the R.N.A.Power Radical New Age Essence prior to the R.N.A.Power Radical New Age Cream would help in increasing the hydration levels but because I did not get the essence this time, hence I can't attest to the efficiacy when used together.
