It has been 3 years since I last used Etude House products so when I chanced upon an Etude House promotion sometime back, I decided to revisit them again. My experiences with their products have been mainly positive, with their collagen series being my favourite.
Etude House 0.2mm Therapy Air Mask ( Pomegranate ) is a new series in their mask range and the material is really very thin and sheer, so much so that I am almost afraid to tear it off, in my excitement to use them. They are purposely made thin so that it will sit on your skin light and comfortable like air. Then again, I don't really understand how a sheet mask can be made to feel like air on skin. Yes, the sheet mask is light. It is comfortable. It is sheer. However, air is invisible and you can't feel it unless you run. But I can feel the sheet mask on my skin.
Etude House 0.2mm Therapy Air Mask ( Pomegranate ) has an artificial scent which thankfully dissipates after a short while. The cutting is not exact fit to my face shape, with a shorter nose flap and large undereye area. It is very wet and can be used up to 30 minutes without any hint of drying up. Note that the recommended usage is 20 minutes and its best not to remove mask only when its all dried up as it will draw moisture from your skin instead.
My skin was comfortably hydrated after a 30 minute treatment. However, I do experience a slightly reddish nose tip and my left undereye area was slightly red as well which probably meant there was a sensitivity issue.
The hydration did not last beyond the next morning, as my skin was in its rough and dehydrated state the following day. Do note that the 4th ingredient is alcohol.
