Winter Organics Calendula Shower Gel is said to be a hydrating body wash with anti-viral, anti-fungal and antibacterial properties to effectively cleanse, moisturise and protect the skin. On the tube, it was even stated that its suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin, eczema and psoriasis.
It seems like the perfect body wash for me. Other than being gentle, it is also 100% natural derived with 79% certified organic ingredients and is pH balanced. And unlike most body washes, the first ingredient in Winter Organics Calendula Shower Gel is Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Water and not water or aqua. Definitely serious business here! Please note that for those who suffer from tree nut allergies, do beware of the presence of Coconut Water in this shower gel.
The light yellow gel contents in this shower gel smell good and cleanse well with moderate suds. However, there is a subtle squeaky kind of dryness during showering which was unexpected, coming from a Calendula Shower Gel, no less.
At 200ml, the tube looked like it may last well but I was surprised that I used it up pretty quickly within 3 weeks, with just one depression twice a day.
