Initially, I was one of them too. I was not very impressed with this moisturiser which my ex-beautician recommended to me. I dislike it for being too mild and not hydrating enough but the staff at the beauty salon seems to love this moisturiser to bits.
Well, I suppose its possible since they have near to perfect and flawless skin. Afterall, they do not have my problem - dehydrated skin in need of deep hydration most of the time.
I refuse to buy them again, after I have finished using the first tube, because I strongly believe that its just not made for my skin. However, recently, I came across this tube again, which I receive as a free gift during a Dermalogica haul from Whatgreatskin.
I was having a bout of breakouts on my chin area due to using an expired tinted sunscreen ( I know! How silly of me, right? ) I was desperate and since I have just finished my moisturiser, I thought an oil-free moisturiser will be just the right one for my breakout skin.
It proved to be right. Its lightweight, its mild, its oil-free, what can I ask for? In fact, its the perfect moisturiser to be used on my problem skin. I won't say it provide much hydration because my take on not being hydrating enough still stands, however for oily skin, its good enough. Oily skin needs an oil-free moisturiser which won't provide another reason for more breakouts.
Its not heavy, its not greasy and its not sticky. Goes on light on the skin and the fragrance is pretty natural. I actually would recommend this for oily and acne-prone skin or for those who just need a normal moisturiser. Its definitely not for those who have dehydrated skin because its just too light.
Even though I love using it now but its mainly due to my breakouts. Once my breakouts are cleared, I believe I would be switching back to my usual hydrating moisturiser. This moisturiser will just serve as a back-up when my skin turns oily.
