Review : MooGoo Cow Lick Lip Balm

Product Description
Do you just need a safe lip moisturiser without chemicals? This is perfect. Honey and rich emollient oils condition and soften the lips. Allantoin helps the repair of minor cuts and Mandarin Essential Oil...well it just tastes nice.

I have a soft spot for milk based products so when I chanced upon MooGoo with its uber cute packaging - the lip balm is stored in a thin milk carton box, I just could not resist putting it into my basket while vacationing in Melbourne. I simply love shopping in independent pharmacies looking for natural, organic and green beauty brands because you never know what you will find. 

MooGoo has produce a range of products, of which, I absolutely adore MooGoo Milk Wash but its on the pricey side so its not for everyone. I have also tried the MooGoo Soothing MSM Cream which, unfortunately, did not soothe my eczema-prone patches then. 

Proudly made in Australia, MooGoo Cow Lick Lip Balm is contained in a thin cyclinder shaped-like tube that can be twisted up for usage, like most lip balms. However, the mechanism gets loose after awhile as the balm gets raised up ever so slightly each time I opened the cap to use the balm. This may interfere with the cap, leaving unslightly remanants near the cap opening.

That aside, their printed tagline on the lip balm exterior " Made from edible ingredients because what does on the lips get eaten " is what draws me in totally. Clean ingredients at its best and they meant serious business with that tagline.

Light yellow in colour, Cow Lick Lip Balm is moisturising and keeps lips soft and supple as it glides smoothly on lips. It left a very slight sheen on the lips which minimize the appearance of "drying" lips, if any. I enjoyed using it in Singapore's humid weather but I can't attest to its effectiveness in winter cold weather when overseas.

Nature Republic Real Nature Green Tea Mask Sheet is the last 2 sheet masks from the pack of 10 sheet masks given by my brother from his Korea trip. Green Tea is widely known as one of the Japanese Beauty Secrets To Achieve Radiant Skin and also one of the 18 Health Food For Beauty.  

The ingredient list is not too long which is good for those with sensitive skin but it contains alcohol in the middle of the list so one still has to be careful. The Green Tea extract, also known as Camellia Sinensis Seed Extract has a lower concentration, even more so than alcohol which does not really sits well with me. But when you consider the affordable price, the trade-off may be considered as reasonable to some.
