Natio Rosewater Drench Mineral Face Mist Review
Product Description
Natio's Rosewater Drench Mineral Face Mist is a micro-fine spray mist that instantly hydrates, refreshes and soothes your skin with a simple spritz. It has skin balancing Rosewater and Hyaluronate that delivers vital natural moisture for lasting hydration. This skin revitalizing face mist suits all skin types and can be used over makeup, anywhere, anytime.

Despite being to Australia 3 times in the last 6 years, I just never seem to pick up Natio from the pharmacies. Instead I purchased Natio Ageless Hydrating Mask 2 years ago and this mist last year, back in Singapore. The irony!

Founded in 1992, Natio is renowned for it's premium quality plant based beauty and skincare products, evolved from an Australian family business that has been manufacturing skin care and cosmetics for national and international brands over four generations during the past 75 years. Combining the finest natural ingredients with modern skin science, Natio offers fresher, healthier looking skin.

Packaging, Scent and Texture

Natio Rosewater Drench Mineral Face Mist comes in a 200ml hard semi-clear plastic mist bottle which is sturdy and portable. It has a strong rose scent which may be a hit with rose-scented fans however, it comes across as slightly too strong for me.

The mist nozzle wasn't as fine as it was described to be, instead, it was strong and came out in bursts, hitting and stinging the eyes. A simple hack is to hold the mist further within a reasonable distance.

How To Use :
1) Hold bottle at least 20cm away and gently mist face with eyes closed.
2) Use under or over makeup as often as described.

Performance and Ingredients

For centuries, rosewater has been Mother Nature's remarkably versatile skin elixir. Add it to Vitamin C and Hyaluronate and this mist is said to give you deep and lasting hydration as it instantly awakens and rehydrates your skin.

As a lightweight and quick-absorbing formula, this mist evaporates fast and I like to use it as a mist toner, just before my serum and moisturizer application. However, this stings and irritates the eyes once it gets into them so close your eyes and hold the bottle 20cm away to avoid any bursts of contents.

The rose fragrance was slightly strong for me, so Natio Rosewater Drench Mineral Face Mist may only appeal to those rose-scented fans. On top of this, it stings slightly on dehydrated patches so I don't really appreciate it.

As a DIY lotion mask where you spray the toner onto cotton pads and layer all over the face, my skin tends to get red patches where the cotton pads are. The patches subsided after 5 minutes once the pads are removed so even though there was no long term damage but it wasn't a pleasant experience.

I depleted the 200ml contents in 1.5 months.

Natio Rosewater Drench Mineral Face Mist contains the following key ingredients...

Rosewater : provide lasting moisture, smooth fine lines, reduces redness, balances oil and pH levels.

Sodium Hyaluronate : deeply moisturises and plumps skin.
Water (Aqua), Rosewater, Glycerin, Rose Oil (Damascena), Hydroxyacetophenone, Ceteth-20, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Potassium Phosphate, Hydroxyethyl Urea, Tetrasodium EDTA, Citric Acid, Allantoin, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Calcium Phosphate, Magnesium Phosphate

Conclusion

To conclude, Natio Rosewater Drench Mineral Face Mist is a mediocre facial mist with no exceptional hydration ability. It stings and irritates the eyes when the contents get in and also stings slightly on dehydrated patches. Not a repurchase.

May Coop Morning Dew is a lovely facial mist which I adored and was one of my Top 25 Empties in 2020!
