InstaNatural Vitamin C Peel Off Mask Review

Product Description
InstaNatural Vitamin C Peel Off Mask provides instant exfoliation and radiance to the skin. A blend of skin brightening Vitamin C, Caffeine and Turmeric are combined with Hyaluronic Acid and Astaxanthin to increase the vibrancy and reduce the look of dullness and dehydration, while removing dead skin cells from the surface. The proprietary culmination of botanicals that are naturally-rich in Vitamin C and combined to support optimal skin health for a complexion that appears healthy, vibrant and youthful.

This is my 3rd product from the brand, after InstaNatural Pro-Radiant Skin Brightening Serum and InstaNatural Eye Serum which I purchased off Iherb (quote OKI787 for a further 5% off your order).

I wasn't expecting much when I started using the product but at the end of it, I was truly pleased with its performance. Unfortunately, it has been discontinued. Ahhh...why?

Packaging, Scent and Texture

InstaNatural Vitamin C Peel Off Mask Texture

InstaNatural Vitamin C Peel Off Mask is housed in a 60ml tube with orange contents. It has a clay-like scent and the mask consistency is sticky but not as messy as snail mucin which can be stretchy.

How To Use :
1) Apply a think layer onto clean, dry skin and allow to set for 25-30 minutes.
2) Avoid application to the hairline, eyebrows, or eyelashes.
3) After mask has fully dried, gently peel away from the skin in sections.
4) Remove any residue with a warm, damp cloth.

Performance and Ingredients

Containing ingredients that are good for fighting acne, anti aging, dry skin, brightening skin, sensitive skin, oily skin, scar healing, dark spots and better texture, InstaNatural Vitamin C Peel Off Mask doesn't contain any harsh alcohols, parabens, silicones or sulfates and is cruelty-free and reef safe.

This Vitamin C Peel Off Mask has a sticky consistency but applies easily on skin with a subtle tightening sensation. It dries up within 5 minutes but isn't the easiest to peel off even after 15 minutes of layering on face. It comes off in bits and pieces which can be such a time-waster. Hence it is recommended to layer for 30 minutes and beyond before trying to peel it off in larger pieces. I still didn't succeed in peeling off in 2 -3 large pieces after so many tries.

Despite the hassle, I love the after-effects. My skin is brighter, clear and glowing, pores are cleaner and smaller and makeup goes on smoothly. That said, it can be slightly drying so a hydrating mask is recommended after using this peel off mask. Do avoid sensitive area, as I noticed that the broken capillaries around my nose turned alittle red.

That said, there was an itch ( sensitive reaction ) when I applied Jumiso Waterfull Hyaluronic Toner, Jumiso Waterfull Hyaluronic Acid Serum and Iunik Black Snail Restore Cream after masking.

The key ingredients are....

Hamamelis Virginiana (witch hazel) Water : Enhance the appearance of dry or damaged skin and help to reduce flaking and restores the suppleness of skin.

Kaolin : Absorbs dead skin cells and impurities. Can be a calming treat for sensitive skin, especially if prone to acne.

Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate : A water soluble and gentle form of Vitamin C that is known to be more stable for use in skincare than pure ascorbic acid. It is a combination of ascorbic acid, a phosphate and a salt and works as an antioxidant to protect and improve the skin's environmental defense barrier.

Aqua, polyvinyl alcohol, hamamelis virginiana (witch hazel) water, glycerin*, propanediol*, kaolin, pentylene glycol*, bentonite, sodium ascorbyl phosphate, caprylic/capric triglyceride*, sodium hyaluronate*, coffea arabica (coffee) seed extract, caffeine, limnanthes alba (meadowfoam) seed oil, glucosyl hesperidin*, rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf extract, centella asiatica extract, hibiscus rosa-sinensis flower extract, haematococcus pluvialis extract, lactobacillus/rice ferment filtrate, curcuma longa (turmeric) root extract, prunus persica nectarina fruit extract, citrus nobilis (mandarin orange) fruit extract, calendula officinalis flower extract, anthemis nobilis flower extract, citrus aurantium dulcis (orange) peel extract, lavandula angustifolia (lavender) extract, helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, polyglyceryl-10 laurate*, sucrose stearate*, lecithin*, tocopherol*, citric acid*, sodium phytate*, benzoic acid, leuconostoc/radish root ferment filtrate*, hydroxyacetophenone, phenethyl alcohol*.

Made without: Parabens, sls/sles, mineral oil, formaldehyde releasers, synthetic dyes, petroleum, polyethylene glycol (pegs), dea/mea/tea, unsafe preservatives and more.
