By Wishtrend Vitamin A-mazing Bakuchiol Night Cream is a combination of Retinal and Bakuchiol that yields fast and great results with less side effects. The great result here refers to well-aging without irritation and reducing wrinkles. Bakuchiol Night Cream is formulated with two Vitamin A ingredients (Retinal & Bakuchiol), in which Retinal is effective in faster skin condition improvement than Retinol, and Bakuchiol is safer to use for all skin types as is a plant-based retinol.
This night cream improves pore appearance and skin texture while providing moisturization. It is a hypoallergenic & treatment night cream that sticks to your face while sleeping. During sleep, your skin's blood flow increases and the organ rebuilds collagen and repairs damage from UV exposure, reducing wrinkles and age spots that lead to the enhancement of your skin repairing.

This is my first Bakuchiol night cream and my second Bakuchiol product, with my first being Allies of Skin Peptides & Omegas Firming Eye Cream. I pretty much enjoyed my last night cream, Allies of Skin Retinal & Peptides Repair Night Cream and hope By Wishtrend Vitamin A-mazing Bakuchiol Night Cream serves me well too.
Packaging, Scent and Texture
By Wishtrend Vitamin A-mazing Bakuchiol Night Cream is housed in a sturdy yellow and purple 30g plastic bottle. The airless pump dispenser pumps out the yellow cream easily with just the right amount - not too much and not too little.
According to Wishtrend, the yellow color of the product is natural due to the key ingredient, retinal. No artificial pigments have been added and won't cause any pigmentation. The yellow stain when using the product is due to the raw material, and it disappears when washing in the morning.
I didn't experience any stains or smudges during my usage as the creamy contents sink well into skin. It has a subtle cooling sensation with a hint of oiliness and a greasy finishing. I am not too bothered with the scent but it can smell odd to some.
How To Use :
Apply 1 or 2 pumps of the Vitamin A-mazing Night Cream after the serum step. Check your skin’s reaction to the product by using a small amount. Increase the amount little by little to find the appropriate amount for your skin. 1 pump per use is recommended. Be careful not to exceed 2 pumps.
If you have sensitive skin or if you are new to vitamin A products, we recommend adjusting the amount or frequency. (ex. Depending on your skin condition, use it twice a week for 2 weeks → then use it 3 times a week for 2 weeks etc)

Bakuchiol is seen as a ‘natural’ alternative to retinol with clinical studies showing users experienced less skin irritation compared to those using retinol. Whilst retinol is a synthetic form of Vitamin A and can be used for improved collagen production and reduction of fine-lines and wrinkles, bakuchiol is a natural alternative extracted from the seeds and leaves of Psoralea corylifolia (babchi plant). It has been used traditionally in Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine for thousands of years due to their desirable benefits such as reduction of fine-lines and wrinkles, improvement of hyperpigmentation and brighter complexion
Artificial coloring-free, fragrance-free, ethanol-free, gluten-free, vegan friendly, cruelty-free, this night cream containing 0.03% Retinal (Retinaldehyde) and 1% Bakuchiol is said to improve wrinkles, skin texture, elasticity and firm and tighten sagging skin such as the neck and chin.
During sleep, your skin's blood flow increases and the organ rebuilds collagen and repairs damage from UV exposure, reducing wrinkles and age spots and enhances the repairing process of the skin. This cream facilitates this stage and reduces the signs of aging.
I have to confess that I didn't like the cream on first use. this product has a hint of oiliness and dries down to a slightly tacky and greasy finishing which isn't welcomed on my combination skin in humid weather. It might suit those with dry or normal skin type, or during winter condition but for those with oily and combination skin type, it may come across as slightly heavy.
As a night cream, I tried to be less fussy about the "heaviness", since I hit the bed with just using this alone but at times, I do experience a random on the chin. I can't use this daily ( not recommended by the brand too ), as it was slightly drying despite feeling heavy on the skin.
I see results when my skin is at its optimal state ( well-hydrated, balanced skin ), where my skin looked healthier and pores are more refined. Hopefully, I can see a difference to the skin textured when I emptied the product.

Bakuchiol : Extracted from the seeds and leaves of Psoralea corylifolia (babchi plant). It has the ability to imitate retinol in terms of skin cell turnover and collagen production, without irritation or photosensitivity. Helps to reduce fine lines, wrinkles and other signs of ageing. Bakuchiol is stable in sunlight and isn’t known to make skin more sun-sensitive but, as with any anti-ageing ingredient, daily UV protection is essential to getting (and keeping) the best results.
Retinal : Retinal is the "big brother" molecule of the better known anti-aging superstar, retinol. While retinol needs two metabolic conversion steps to reach the active form, retinoic acid (aka tretinoin), retinal is the direct precursor only one conversion step away from the active form the skin cells understand. It is estimated that retinal can convert more than 10x faster to retinoic acid than retinol, making retinal an outstandingly effective member of the retinoid family (vitamin A family).
Once converted, retinal helps the skin cells to produce more collagen and other structural elements, making the skin more youthful, firm and elastic. It also speeds up the renewal process of the upper skin layers making it smoother and more even. A-Game is a smart-aging must-have, but it is also useful as an adjacent product for fading pigmentation, as well as helping acne-prone skin.
Hyaluronic Acid : Also known as "Moisture tank" as it draws in moisture 1,000 times of its weight. It helps maintain the necessary moisture for skin by preventing evaporation of moisture.

Conclusion
To conclude, By Wishtrend Vitamin A-mazing Bakuchiol Night Cream isn't the perfect fit for my combination skin in humid weather as it felt heavy and looked greasy on my face, however on optimal skin state, I do see a healthy appearance with regular use.
