Product Description
Rovectin Vita Dark Spot Serum features a powerful brightening formula that includes 70.2% Vitamin Tree Water, Niacinamide and Vitamin C to help leave the skin look bright and clear.
Thankful to have been selected for the Stylekorean X Rovectin collaboration where I received Rovectin Vita Dark Spot Serum, Rovectin Aqua Hyaluronic Essence, Rovectin Clean Lotus Water Cream and Rovectin UV Defense Tinted SPF 50+ PA++++.
Rovectin Dark Spot Serum is said to be clinically proven to reduce the appearance of dark spots and blemishes by 6.76% in 3 days. It contains 3 types of brightening ingredients to prevent melanin production hence improving dark spots.
Lets delve down to see how well it works, shall we?
Packaging, Scent and Texture
Rovectin Dark Spot Serum is housed in a clear bottle with light yellow gel contents dispensed via a airless pump dispenser. It has a subtle cooling sensation upon application with a subtle tackiness and a dewy finishing but not much scent.
How To Use :
Apply the serum to entire face area after cleansing and toning. Use morning and/or night.
Performance and Ingredients
Cruelty free, paraben-free, contains no artificial colors, artificial fragrance, mineral oil, steroids, Rovectin Dark Spot Serum features 70.2% Vitamin Tree Water with a high vitamin C and antioxidant content to help rejuvenate and deeply moisturise the skin. Niacinamide, Vitamin C and Arbutin work together to inhibit melanin production, which may reduce the appearance of dark spots and leave the skin glowing. Herb Complex, Hyaluronic Acid and Linolenic acid boost hydration retention and soothe irritation.
This is my latest favourite product from Rovectin and I am impressed with the results. The gel texture appears thick and oily at first glance but absorbed quickly into the skin, leaving it refreshed and surprisingly not shiny on face.
My skin feels soft and slightly smoother and the following morning, my overall skin looked rested. After using it for a month, I noticed the healthy glow on skin and the pigmentation spots on cheeks were lighter.
That said, to say that there will be a 7% improvement in 3 days was alittle "daring" as its difficult for me to judge it on my face.
Vitamin Tree Water, also known as Hippophae Rhamnoides Water worked very well for me, just like in the case of Iunik Vitamin Hyaluronic Acid Vitalizing Toner, so I was glad to have a chance to try this out.
The key ingredients are....
Vitamin tree water (70.2%) : With 30 times richer in Vitamin C than lemons, the potent antioxidant Vitamin tree water effectively rejuvenates and deeply moisturizes the skin, leaving it feeling refreshed and revitalized.
Niacinamide + Arbutin + 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid : Works together to inhibit melanin production, resulting in a brighter and more even complexion free of pigmentation.
Brightening Hyaluronic acids (Patented) : Hyaluronic acid and Linolenic Acid prevents melanin production and amplifies hydration retention, keeping skin brightened and hydrated.
HerbCool complex : Cools down skin's temperature and soothes irritation, protecting against blemishes caused by UV exposure and hot flashes.
9 types of vitamin complex : Brightens the skin and helps maintain its health, leaving it looking revitalized.
