I'm From Ginseng Mask Review
Product Description
I'm From Ginseng Mask is a wash-off mask enriched with Red Ginseng and Panax Ginseng Seed Oil to help achieve the ideal oil and water balance. Applies in a thick formula to remove dead skin cells and other impurities.

I have been intrigued with I'm From mask products ever since I visited Korea back in 2019 but I limit myself to buying I'm From Vitamin Tree Mask then. Definitely glad to be able to try out I'm From Ginseng Mask as my first collaboration with Wishtrend

Performance and Ingredients

I'm From Ginseng Mask Full Review

Formulated with 3.97% concentrated ginseng extract, the Ginseng Mask is designed to naturally open up your pores to deeply cleanse while replenishing the necessary nourishments for healthier, younger skin.

The natural heating properties of Ginseng opens the pores to release impurities, and aids the absorption of active ingredients. Filling in the skin with nutrients where there once was impurities, this rinse-off mask thoroughly hydrates the skin to make it shiny and healthy. The concentrated antioxidant properties of the ginseng extract purifies skin that is fatigued from external stimuli and accumulated waste.

I'm From Ginseng Mask is meant to be applied on damp skin where it is easy to spread, massage and rinse off. It warmed up once in contact with the skin for 1 to 2 minutes and never dry up like most facial masks.

The contents are sticky and thick like honey which can get slightly messy during initial applications but once you get the hang of it, its pretty bearable. If the skin is too wet, the mask gets slippery and may drip down - I have experienced it sliding in to my lips where I can taste the bittersweet taste of the Ginseng mask so a word of caution is not to apply too near to your eyes or lips.

I prefer to use it during shower, where I would apply on damp face, massage for about 3 minutes, wait for 10 minutes and rinse off.

My skin looked brighter, less tired and felt softer. Sebaceous filaments on sides of the nose were more obvious where I will "clean" up with a cotton bud and the pores looked much cleaner. That said, it isn't as hydrating as what my skin needs although it never claim to be so.

The key ingredients are.....

6-year-old 3.97% Ginseng extract : Because ginseng extract is made with a moisture content of less than 14%, it is possible to store the taste, scent and active ingredients of ginseng in a concentrated state for a long time. Meticulous control of temperature, time and pressure is required until one ginseng is made into ginseng extract. Through this process, a new active ingredient unique to ginseng extract was discovered. The I’m from Ginseng Mask is formulated with the concentrate of high-quality ginseng extract at its purest.

Korea’s Geumsan County is home to a species of Korean ginseng that has a history of 1,500 years. Due to its great natural environment, it has been evaluated as the ideal location to cultivate ginseng of the highest quality in the world. Geumsan ginseng contains about 30 various saponins, including ginsenoside, while western ginseng on the other hand contains only 13~15 kinds of saponin, which is half of that of Geumsan ginseng.

** Ginsenoside : Contrary to Saponin, which is found in an abundance of various other plants, this is a component that carries special pharmacological efficacy, found only in Ginseng.

During the process of turning ginseng into ginseng extract, changes occur in the percentage of its main components. Ten components that aren’t originally present in ginseng, or were only present in small quantities - such as antioxidants and heavy metal detoxing agents - are newly formed or multiply in content.

Glycyrrhiza Uralensis (Licorice) Root Extract : Licorice has long been prized in Japan due to its medicinal properties and health benefits. Scientists more recently discovered that licorice root extract is an emulsifier, which allows both water and oil-based ingredients to mix effectively. The notable skin benefits are brightening, sun defense and heal scars, calm inflammation and soften skin.

Glycerin, panax ginseng root extract (3.97%) butylene glycol, panax ginseng seed oil (200ppm), glycyrrhiza uralensis (licorice) root extract, paeonia albiflora root extract, angelica gigas root extract, rheum palmatum root extract, angelica pubescens root extract, schizonepeta tenuifolia extract, phellodendron amurense bark extract malt extract, ethoxydiglycol, hydrolyzed glycosaminoglycans, hyaluronic acid, boswellia serrata resin extract, 1,2-hexanediol, water, ethylhexylglycerin, peg-60 hydrogenated castor oil, isohexadecane, polysorbate 80, sodium acrylate/sodium acryloyldimethyl taurate copolymer

Conclusion

To conclude, I'm From Ginseng Mask was a lovely rinse-off mask with a short heating element to open up the pores for deep cleansing whilst replenishing nutrients for healthy younger skin.

It made my pores cleaner, skin softer and looked overall less tired and brighter although it isn't as hydrating as what my skin needs. I enjoyed using the mask but its not a must-have in my routine. I reached out for this when my skin looked dull.
