I have selected I'm From Mugwort Mask together with I'm From Ginseng Mask as my first collaboration with Wishtrend and can't wait to use them.
This mask is highly recommended for troubled, irritated skin, agitated, exhausted skin and rough, red, uneven skin. Lets delve down to see if it truly lives up to its claims.
Packaging, Scent and Texture
I'm From Mugwort Mask comes in a 110g glass jar of mugwort contents with a herbal grass-like scent. It has a gloopy texture and a lovely calming instant sensation on skin. A spatula is included in the box for scooping up the mask from the jar.
Korean mugwort is known for its unique scent and antioxidants, full of vitamins and minerals to restore youth and energy as well as for its amazing calming and detoxifying effects, making it excellent for skin care.
How to Use
1) After cleansing, apply a thick layer of the Mugwort Mask evenly onto the face.
2) Rest for 5-10 minutes and rinse gently with water.
3) Finish with the Mugwort Essence. The Mugwort Mask is gentle enough and perfect for everyday use as well!
* The green beads in the Mugwort Mask are ground mugwort particles and may be different in sizes and shapes.
Tips :
- When using in the morning, please apply UV filter with SPF15 or higher.
- Recommended not to use with exfoliants both physical and chemical such as AHA, BHA, or Retinol
- If you have very sensitive skin, use 2-3 times a week and adjust the frequency in consideration of your skin condition.
- For sensitive skin, mix the cleanser with the Mugwort Mask. Cleansing with the mixture will deliver the effects of cleansing and soothing at once!
Performance and Ingredients
Mugworts are called 'tea tree' in Korea for its soothing and cleansing effect. It holds a unique scent of Chineol containing vitamins, minerals, and tannins. I’M FROM Mugwort Mask is designed with a unique gel network with a high concentration of only the top quality mugwort from Ganghwa, Korea.
I'm From Mugwort Mask is a thick gloopy dark brownish green mask filled with green grains in its contents that spreads out easily. Those green grains are ground mugwort that may vary in size.
With a pH of 5.7±0., it is cruelty free and formulated without artificial fragrances and colors, parabens, sulfates, animal products, alcohol, mineral oils, essential oils, and silicone.
I loved how cooling and calming it felt the moment the rinse-off mask touched my skin. It is ideal for use after long walks in the hot sun because it soothes and calms the skin, leaving it soft and smooth.
I enjoyed using it on irritated and sensitized red skin for comforting and soothing benefits, as the redness reduced significantly within 10 minutes, though it never completely disappeared.
When I had redness on my upper lips on the next round, I left the mask on for 30 minutes ( since the mask never dries up anyway ) and voila, all the redness was gone once I rinsed it off. Definitely impressed!
That said, the downsides are, it stings on dehydrated skin and its not the easiest to rinse off with water, so I tend to use cotton pads to do the first cleanse before cleansing with water.
Overall, after using I'm From Mugwort Mask, my skin would be soft, smooth, bright and clear.

Conclusion
To conclude, I'm From Mugwort Mask is a lovely must-have mask for those who have irritated, sensitised and reddened skin as it helped to calm and soothe skin. Leave it for 30 minutes and you will experience how great it is. It is also one of my Top 22 Empties I Loved in 2022!
Unfortunately, it doesn't rinse off easily so some time and effort are required. Adding on, it stings on dehydrated skin.
