I purchased Cosrx Aloe Soothing Sun Cream SPF 50+ PA+++ after hearing much raves on Instagram. With new sunscreens being released on a monthly basis, we are now spoiled for choices. Sunscreen is a daily part of my life and I hope that its part of yours too. Its the #1 anti-aging product that anyone should incorporate in their skincare routine.

Packaging, Scent and Texture
Cosrx Aloe Soothing Sun Cream SPF 50+ PA+++ is a 50ml plastic tube that has the exact illustration from box to tube. It has a lotion-like texture with a aloe fragrance and a subtle cooling sensation.
How To Use :
1) Apply a generous amount on over face 30 minutes before sun exposure.
2) Reapply throughout the day as needed, especially during prolonged sun exposure.
Performance and Ingredients
The sun’s UVA and UVB rays trigger a cascade of free radical damage and inflammation that is the major cause of wrinkles, sagging skin, discolorations, as well as many other issues that rob skin of its youthful qualities. By protecting skin from this damage, daily use of sunscreen delivers anti-aging and skin health benefits above and beyond any other product.
Consistency and diligence is key when it comes to sunscreen - apply SPF 30 or greater every single day, even if you are sitting inside by a window ( the sun’s damaging UVA rays penetrate glass ) or on a cloudy day ( damaging rays still penetrate through clouds ).

Cosrx Aloe Soothing Sun Cream SPF 50+ PA+++ is one of my best finds for 2022. I simply love this so much and is so sad to see this being emptied soon. I reserve this for days when I need to apply makeup as it gave such a beautiful glow underneath makeup. It is also a bonus for dehydrated skin days as it doesn't emphasize flakiness or dry patches.
Lightweight lotion texture that applies, glides well on skin and absorbed fast, it is easy to layer more when deemed fit as its non-greasy and non-sticky. I am a fan of its dewy finishing which looked so alluring under makeup. Being a chemical sunscreen, this has no white cast.
Cosrx Aloe Soothing Sun Cream pairs well with my favourite Naruko Tea Tree Anti-Acne Sunscreen SPF50 and RMS Beauty "Un" Powder where the initial dewy-ness toned down slightly to give my skin that even-toned dewy beautiful glow.
When used alone, it gives a healthy glow to skin without looking greasy, however, with my combination skin, I felt that it looked best under makeup.
With an SPF of 50 PA+++, this sunscreen helps to protect against UVA and UVB rays. An SPF 50 product protects you from 98 percent of UVB "burning" rays that penetrate your skin, while PA+++ offers high UVA protection..
The letters “PA” followed by plus signs on a label are a rating system developed in Japan to represent how much UVA protection the product offers.
This is what each PA rating means:
PA+ = Some UVA protection.
PA++ = Moderate UVA protection.
PA+++ = High UVA protection.
PA++++ = Extremely High UVA protection.
According to Cosrx, it has conducted domestic and overseas preliminary clinical trials to ensure its UV protection index human application tests abide by International Standard ISO 24444 : 2019 and its been confirmed by Clinical Institution JS. Conclusion
To conclude, Cosrx Aloe Soothing Sun Cream SPF 50+ PA+++ was a lovely sunscreen which I absolutely adore. The lightweight texture makes it a layer-able sunscreen without any stickiness or greasiness worries.
It has a dewy glow which makes it perfect under makeup for that beautiful even-tone glow and is perfect for dehydrated skin days too.
Highly recommended this sunscreen for most skin types! It is also one of my Top 22 Empties I Loved in 2022!
