Klairs Gentle Black Fresh Cleansing Oil is a mild cleansing oil made up of 85% light and refreshing vegetable oil. Containing sunflower seed oil, grape seed oil, and jojoba oil, which are mild on the skin, it gently melts makeup and skin impurities with a clean finish.

I received 2 x 30ml bottles of Klairs Gentle Black Fresh Cleansing Oil as part of the Team Combination Box from my first Wishtrend collaboration. This cleansing oil is very popular in the Instagram skincare community so I was looking forward to using it.

Packaging, Scent and Texture
The full retail size is a 150ml clear bottle with a pump dispenser while the miniature bottle like mine, is a 30ml size with a small hole in the center to dispense the clear contents.

It doesn't have much of a scent and has a clear and non-oily texture that is neither thick nor watery.
How To Use :
1) Dispense an appropriate amount on dry palms.
2) Cleanse the skin by gently massaging in a rolling motion.
3) Rinse off with warm water.
Performance and Ingredients
This fragrance-free oil cleanser can be used on a daily basis and has a light, non-oily finish. It gently removes dead skin cells and controls sebum production while effectively removing all makeup, oil, and dirt residues.
It fully moisturizes the skin and balances the skin's water to oil level with simple and gentle ingredients like Sunflower Seed Oil, Grape Seed Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil, and Black Currant Oil. It is also high in Vitamins A, B, and C, as well as antioxidants, which help to keep the skin healthy and hydrated.

When I first received the 30ml bottles, which were kept in their own boxes, the first one I picked up from the combination box was not tightly secured. The cap was not tightly twisted, hence leaking over the box, leaving a black stain on it.
I was worried that it might be tampered with and was wondering if I should use it. Thank goodness, there were no adverse effects since using up the 30ml bottle in 2 weeks.
Using just 6 ingredients, Klairs Gentle Black Fresh Cleansing Oil is a simple and fuss-free makeup remover, that cleanses effectively, on light makeup and sunscreen. Even using the cleansing oil around my eyes did not sting them which was a huge bonus.
This fragrance-free cleansing oil is fresh, light and non-oily. It isn't drying, sticky or heavy but emulsifies and washes off nicely and simply leaves you with clean, soft, smooth and supple skin after cleansing. Love touching my smooth skin.
Unfortunately, there was a subtle taut sensation at times.

Recommended for those with combination-oily skin and those who find oil cleansers too heavy, this cleansing oil contains just 6 ingredients to leave your skin clean, fresh, soft, smooth and supple without any residue, however there was a subtle taut sensation at times.
Here are some other cleansing oils which I have tried - Sulwhasoo Gentle Cleansing Oil EX, Coxir Cleansing Oil and Hada Labo Gokujyun Oil Cleansing (Japan Version).
