I redeemed a complimentary set of mini samples when they were first launched in Singapore. The set consists of Freeplus Mild Soap 7g, Freeplus Moist Care Lotion II 5ml, Freeplus Moist Care Emulsion II 9ml and Freeplus Watery Cream 5g.
Since my skin can hardly tolerate soap cleanser, I gave it to my hubby while I use the rest of the samples which lasted me for about a week with twice daily usage.

Every Freeplus product is enriched with the power of time-honored botanicals cherished in Japanese and Chinese beauty care. Freeplus aging-care and basic moisturizing lines embrace nature and purity to soothe gentle, easily bothered skin.
You can check the manufacturing dates for Kanebo products on this website.
Freeplus Moist Care Lotion II is a moisturizing lotion which delivers an abundant amount of moisture to the stratum corneum to improve and keep protecting the skin texture. Enriched with 6 Chinese and Japanese herbal extracts, Nicotinic Acid B and Serine 120 to penetrate thoroughly into deep stratum corneum. It helps to replenish the moisture of skin cells and prevent moisture loss, leaving skin moist, plump and soft.
How To Use :
1) An appropriate amount per use is until a cotton pad is fully saturated.
2) After facial wash, take the lotion on a cotton pad or your palms, and gently spread over the entire skin.
3) After applying the lotion to your skin, press down the entire face with your palms in order to deliver moisturizing effects to the stratum corneum.
Kanebo Freeplus Moist Care Lotion II is a lightweight lotion with no scent and a subtle cooling sensation upon application. There was a slight tackiness that takes awhile to be absorbed into skin, leaving just a hint behind.
I tried using the lotion on both palms and cotton pads methods but cotton pads suit me best, as there was less of the tackiness and it absorbed much better into skin.
Free of Parabens, Mineral Oil, Alcohol, Colorants, UV absorbers and Fragrances, the Moist Care Lotion II isn't as moisturizing as preferred on my combination-dehydrated surface skin type so it won't be a repurchase. It may suit dry skin better, than dehydrated skin.
In terms of ingredients, it contains the following....
Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Leaf Extract : helps calm and soothe the skin
Citrus Unshiu Peel Extract : acts as protection from UV-caused damages
Prunus Persica (Peach) Kernel Extract : helps with cleansing and softening
Coix Lacryma-Jobi Ma-Yuen Seed Extract : has antioxidant properties
Freeplus Moist Care Emulsion II is a hypoallergenic lotion that offers a lightweight, non-sticky finish and is infused with 6 Chinese herbal extracts, alongside glycyrrhizin, bitter orange peel extract, niacinamide and hyaluronic acid to condition skin.
How To Use :
1) After conditioning the skin with lotion, apply it to the palm of your hand and apply to the entire face. 2) After soaking it in, gently calm the entire face with the palm of your hand so that the moisture penetrates into the stratum corneum more effectively
Slightly thicker in texture than than Moist Care Lotion II, Kanebo Freeplus Moist Care Emulsion II also has a similar cooling sensation with a subtle tackiness that takes a long time to be absorbed, leaving just a hint behind.
This emulsion is more hydrating than the lotion and gave rise to a calming, soothing, comforting and nourishing feel after application.
My skin is left soft and smooth the following morning, although there was a slight shine on the T-zone which I don't really fancy.
It is free of Parabens, Mineral Oil, Alcohol, Colorants, UV absorbers and Fragrances.

Freeplus Watery Cream is a light, refreshing cream that forms a cushion between the hands and the skin to reduce stress on face. As soon as it touches the skin, it transforms into a liquid that never feels sticky or greasy as it smoothens lightly over the face.
How To Use :
Usage in evenings after applying lotion and emulsion is recommended.
Designed to be free of friction, the water-like cushioning cream changes to liquid just by coming into contact with skin and creates a "water-skin film". The cream's moisturizing effects balance the moisture level of skin prone to dryness to leave skin clear, supple and silky. It is free of Parabens, Mineral Oil, Alcohol, Colorants, UV absorbers and Fragrance, Freeplus Watery Cream
Kanebo Freeplus Watery Cream envelopes your skin with a light, comfortable, watery veil that deeply moisturizes and protects the skin. It has a soothing and calming sensation with no scent.
My skin is left smoother, plumped and hydrated but unfortunately, it also has a hint of tackiness just like the lotion and emulsion which isn't something I like, on my combination dehydrated surface skin type.
Do note that even though this cream can be layered after emulsion but it was too much for my skin type so I prefer to use this after lotion II where my skin looked less greasy and shiny.
In terms of ingredients, it contains the following....
Lonicera Japonica (Honeysuckle) Flower Extract : decreases inflammation
Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Leaf Extract : helps calm and soothe the skin
Perilla Ocymoides Leaf Extract : has anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties
Angelica Keiskei Leaf and Stem Extract : helps with anti-ageing, detoxifying and nourishing skin cells
Citrus Unshiu Peel Extract : acts as protection from UV-caused damages
Prunus Persica (Peach) Kernel Extract : helps with cleansing and softening
Coix Lacryma-Jobi Ma-Yuen Seed Extract : has antioxidant properties
Conclusion
To conclude, Kanebo Freeplus Moist Care Lotion II, Kanebo Freeplus Moist Care Emulsion II and Kanebo Freeplus Watery Cream made my skin looked plumped and rested the following morning after the first night' use which impressed me greatly, and with regular use, my face was soft and smooth.
However, my skin never feel deeply hydrated as there were some rough areas on the nose and forehead which I never experience with other products. Adding on, the hint of tackiness never seem to go away which was slightly annoying.
For my skin type, its best to apply the Lotion II and Emulsion in the day and Lotion II and Watery Cream in the night. Layering all in 1 routine is just too rich for my skin, leaving a greasy sheen on my T-zone.
Overall, I do think this set of products may suit dry skin better than dehydrated skin. You can consider Axis-y Aqua Boosting Essence Toner, Axis-y Advanced Aqua Boosting Ampoule and Axis-y Heartleaf My-Type Calming Cream which worked better for dehydrated skin.
