I received a set of Cosmic Moment Serein Anti Hair-Loss Shampoo and Serein Hair Conditioning Vinegar after applying for a campaign on 0.8 Liter Singapore as I hope to incorporate more hair loss products in my haircare regime this year.
Even though I have long and thick tresses, I started to feel that the crown was getting flatter and losing volume so I think its time to add in some hair loss products before its too late. Leave a comment below if you have recommendations of effective hair loss products.

Packaging, Scent and Texture
Cosmic Moment Serein Anti Hair-Loss Shampoo is housed in a dark green bottle with a pump dispenser to dispense the shampoo, however, each pump only dispenses only a tiny amount so I always need about 8 - 10 pumps to get the desired quantity required for my long hair. The gel-like contents has a cooling and refreshing sensation with a lingering bergamot and woody musk scent.
Cosmic Moment Serein Hair Conditioning Vinegar comes with 2 types of applicators for different usages. The Spray Cap is easy to use on a wide surface while the Pointer Cap is easy to apply directly on scalp.
The texture is very runny if you use the pointed tip and the contents just ooze out fast and furious while the spritz form requires some patience as one spritz the conditioning vinegar all over the hair.
The minty sensation is quite invigorating and has a charming scent of a mellow Agarwood and musk. scent.
How To Use Shampoo :
1) Wet the hair and scalp with lukewarm water.
2) Apply shampoo on scalp and massage root of hair and scalp for 1 -2 minutes to get rich lather .
3) Rinse off with water.
How To Use Conditioner :
1) After shampooing, pour rinsing vinegar onto scalp and entire hair length.
2) Massage with fingertips and leave on for 2 minutes.
3) Rinse off with water.
Performance
Cosmic Moment Serein Anti Hair-Loss Shampoo is infused with Tremella Fuciformis extract, Green Tea Seed Oil and nutrient-rich botanicals to revitalise hair growth, strengthens hair follicles, improves scalp circulation and contains proteins to stimulate hair bulb to help with hair density problems.
The gel-like contents lathers very well, giving rise to rich foam with a lingering bergamot and woody musk scent. It has a cooling and refreshing sensation initially but after about 50% used up, I no longer experience that sensation and it just felt like a regular shampoo.
When I started using them for the first 3 days, there was more hair fall than usual followed by dandruff for another 2 days. Thereafter, I happened to visit Next Salon for a haircut and the senior stylist tried to convince me that its was the hair dye that was causing the dandruff and clogged hair follicles because according to her professional knowledge, if it was the shampoo, the dandruff would be concentrated on the crown, instead of all over the hair. That sounds logical although I was skeptical.
I had been doing the hair colouring at another hair salon for 2 years and I never had any problems with dandruff but I thought I should trust the professionals so I parted with $164 for a haircut and a hair scalp treatment session. The hair follicles were clean and unclogged after the session ( which was expected ) and I went home happily, thinking that was the end of my dandruff problem.
Unfortunately, the next day, after my hair shampoo-ing with the same shampoo, the dandruff came back! I was right after all, it wasn't the hair dye!
I took a break and switched back to my regular shampoo and thankfully, after reverting to Cosmic Moment Serein Anti Hair-Loss Shampoo again, there was no more issue although there was a random hair itch once in a while. This experience kept me worried for awhile and always made me wonder why I should fix things when it isn't broken. HAHA.
The shampoo left my hair clean and soft and the difference is definitely felt when I added the Cosmic Moment Serein Hair Conditioning Vinegar.
Containing Tremella Fuciformis extract and herb vinegar to address damaged hair, strengthen and protect hair structure, seal hair cuticles and restore healthy appearance and texture, this hair conditioner with a very runny texture has the charming scent of a mellow Agarwood and musk scent.
Initially, I actually thought it was to be used for the scalp only, but in fact, it can be used for all over the head - on scalp and hair which was great.
It comes with 2 types of dispensers which you can interchange depending on your needs - one with a pointed tip and the other one in a spritz form.
If you like the idea of a hair spray, then go for the spritz type which allows you to spray the conditioner all over the hair, covering a wide surface. Massage and then rinse it off. That said, it was difficult to hold the bottle for spraying as it was cumbersome and slippery, with it being a big bottle and a small spritz dispenser and at times, I have to use both hands to grip the bottle securely before spraying. I have to add a disclaimer that I have small hands.
If you are prefer something that goes directly to the scalp, then go for the pointed tip that allows the contents to apply directly on scalp. With this pointed tip, the conditioner flows out easily onto the hair which reminded me vaguely of A'pieu Raspberry Hair Vinegar. Massage and then rinse off. Do note that this method depleted the Hair Conditioning Vinegar at a much faster rate but its my preferred method.
That said, because of its runny texture, the contents might get into the eyes accidentally as you massage your scalp so just be careful. It doesn't really hurts but left a minty sensation on the eyes, just wash out with water and you would be fine.
Cosmic Moment Serein Hair Conditioning Vinegar has a stronger minty sensation ( probably due to the alcohol ) than the shampoo and caused more hair fall in the initial stages - during massaging and after rinsing. This hair fall stopped after the 4th day. Phew!
The tingly sensation refreshes the scalp and helps maintain the balance of oil and moisture of scalp while smoothening hair. It keeps the sebum of scalp healthy by adjusting pH balance at pH6.4 which is slightly more acidic than alkaline shampoo ( pH8 - 9 ) that tends to irritate dry and oily scalp. The conditioner kept my hair soft, smooth and less oily.
Both Serein Anti Hair-loss Shampoo and Serin Hair Conditioning Vinegar are vegan certified by The Vegan Society from UK and are hypoallergenic for sensitive scalps.

In terms of ingredients, Cosmic Moment Serein Anti Hair-Loss Shampoo uses 3 core ingredients to relieve hair loss problems such as Menthol ( skin cooling and refreshment ), Panthenol ( scalp moisturizing and nourishing ) and Salicylic Acid ( sebum, waste and dead skin care ).

Conclusion
To conclude, Cosmic Moment Serein Anti Hair-Loss Shampoo and Cosmic Moment Serein Hair Conditioning Vinegar caused more hair fall in the initial stages but there were no issues thereafter. The shampoo left my hair clean and soft while the conditioner kept my hair soft, smooth and less oily.
That said, they won't be a repurchase as I won't know when I will get more hair fall from using them one day.
