Last year, I tried several Iunik products and loved them so much! My reviews received overwhelming traction which came as a surprise because Iunik is not a widely known brand. This year, I wanted to try more of Isntree products and I hope you would find my reviews helpful. Packaging, Scent and Texture
Isntree Sensitive Balancing Sun Protection SPF 50+ PA++++ is housed in a 60ml opaque white and blue slim tube with a clean and minimalistic vibe. The contents ooze out easily with just light depressions on the tube. Initially, I did not fancy the overpowering scent, it was strong and unpleasant making it a struggle to use it every morning but I was accustomed to it after awhile.

The white creamy formulation was also slightly drying on hands and has a light white cast on skin hence my initial experience with the product did not start on a positive note. However, with time, I actually started appreciating the product and grew to love it.
How To Use
1) Use at the very last step of skincare in the morning.
2) Reapply every 3 hours or as necessary before sun exposure.
note : May also apply to body.
Performance and Ingredients
Made in Korea, Isntree Sensitive Balancing Sun Protection is an SPF 50+ PA++++ sun shield specifically designed for those with sensitive and imbalanced skin types by using inorganic UV filters without the chalkiness and white cast. This is a physical sunblock recommended for outdoor activities under strong UV, according to Isntree.
This Sensitive Balancing Sun Protection SPF 50+ PA++++ was not love at first use because of the strong scent, the drying feel and the white cast but surprisingly, I actually started to enjoy using it after a couple of weeks as I experienced more positives than negatives from the usage.
I grew accustomed to its scent and while the texture was slightly drying on my hands, it worked pretty fine on my face, however I would still recommend one to use this on hydrated skin. I managed to massage in the initial white cast so that it only left a hint of it, on my fair skin.
The initial dewy finishing dries down matte which my combination skin adores as it stayed matte and smooth, which lasted almost the whole day. I can't even see any hint of oil on my T-zone by the end of the day which was amazing!
That said, occasionally I do experience a hint of oil on the T-zone after 6 hours of wear but on most days, I can get away with a matte face. Those with oily and combination skin would super love this!
I like that this sunscreen contains SPF50+ with PA++++ and the price point is reasonable and affordable for most.
That said, the PAO period ( period after opening ) for this sunscreen is 6 months which is surprisingly short. However if you use it every day with reapplication at times, you should be able to use it up within that time frame. I managed to use it up in 6 months.
In terms of ingredients, Isntree Sensitive Balancing Sun Protection SPF 50+ PA++++ contains the following....
Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide : Physical UV blocking ingredients.
As a mineral-based sunscreen active ingredient, zinc oxide reflects light off the surface of the skin where the sunscreen is applied back into the environment, much like a mirror.
Zinc oxide can be ‘micronized,’ meaning it’s processed into very small particles, so small that the preparation appears clear when applied on the skin. Non-micronized formulations are often less cosmetically elegant and are more opaque or white. So, if you’ve ever applied a sunscreen that left a white, powdery cast on your body, it most likely contained zinc oxide as a key ingredient.
Zinc oxide isn’t the only sunscreen ingredient used to block harmful UVA and UVB rays. Many sunscreens contain an ingredient called titanium dioxide, which, like zinc oxide, is typically found in mineral sunscreens. It’s also considered safe since it does not penetrate the skin and offers broad-spectrum protection against both UVA and UVB rays. Although, some studies have shown that titanium dioxide can work as a photosensitizer that can be absorbed by the skin, a safe bet is to look for sunscreens that are known to use particles too big to be absorbed, or those containing zinc oxide, which is the safest ingredient according to the Environmental Working Group (EWG)
Both zinc oxide and titanium oxide have been shown to be non-toxic when used on the skin and to not break down when exposed to the sun, which is vital. ( source )

Conclusion
To conclude, Isntree Sensitive Balancing Sun Protection SPF 50+ PA++++ is a great sunscreen which I love it more than expected. On oily skin days, I really appreciate having it in my routine. Since I hardly use makeup due to mask-wearing, I can't use my favourite RMS Beauty "Un' Powder to mattify the skin, so this sunscreen is a great option for me which my oily T-zone appreciates.
However, it is highly recommended to use it on well-hydrated skin as it can get slightly drying. Note that at the time of writing, this sunscreen has been discontinued.
