Packaging, Scent and Texture
Remescar Tired Look Eye Contour Creme comes in a white plastic opaque bottle with a pump dispenser that dispenses just the right amount for application around the eye area. That said, because of its opaque material, its difficult to tell when the product is depleting. The fonts on the front of the bottle also disappeared after 5 months of regular usage.
Similarly to Remescar Dark Circles and Eye Bags, it is packed in a pretty large box that bellied the 15ml size.It has a subtle chemical-like scent which probably come from its ingredients.
There was an immediate cooling sensation during application which may be partly due to the Alcohol Denat as the 3rd ingredient. The gel with a silicon-like feel helps to provide a smooth texture.
How To Use :
Step 1: Wash your face gently and pat dry.
Step 2: Pump a small amount of Remescar Tired Look on your fingertip.
Step 3: Apply the cream under and around the eyes, moving from the inner to the outer corner of the eyes. You may also apply the cream on the eyelids. Take care to gently pat the cream all the way along the orbital bone. Please avoid using the cream too close to your eyes because the product will spread when it warms up with your body temperature.
Step 4: Wash your hands and replace the cap after each use.
Step 5: Re-apply the cream throughout the day when feeling tired.
Performance
While I do like the cooling and minty sensation from the application of Remescar Tired Look Eye Contour Creme, I was initially surprised by the chili-hot and minty sensation for my first and second application where it took 30 minutes to subside then. However by the 3rd application, the "spiciness' has been reduced by 80% so it has become much more manageable and was no longer an issue.
Unlike Remescar Dark Circles and Eye Bags where you are supposed to use it once a day, this Tired Look Eye Contour Creme can be used multiple times according to the website. This information was not written on the packaging so I have been using it twice a day and gradually reducing it to once a day when I failed to see any results.
How long does the product last?
Every person is different so the outcome of the cream can vary from person to person. When you're feeling tired, you can apply Remescar Tired Look several times a day.
The cooling and minty sensation would last about 1 hour and the effects started to get milder before disappearing after 2 hours. The sensation is there to "awaken" you and address eye fatigue but I don't see any visible difference on the undereye area though.
