I am trying for a no-buy to low-buy year for 2020 but instead of being ambitious, I am taking baby steps and target on a monthly basis. I managed to accomplish no-buy months for Jan to April and had to find a replacement for my eye cream in May and stock up on my cleansers in June when there was a 50% discount. I purchased a 1 Litre Coconut Oil for my DIY Coffee Scrub which saved me some moolah from buying body scrubs. All you need is Coconut Oil, used Coffee Grounds and Salt/Sugar and thats it!
I continued my no-buy month for July and a low-buy month for August. The pandemic was a good excuse for me to avoid jostling with others during sales and there was no warehouse sales during this period too. While most of the sales are now online but the prices were not attractive enough for me to purchase them.

There was a sale on Ichangi with no self-collection available. A minimum of $59 is required for free shipping so I top off with some chocolates and biscuits. It was my first online purchase from the site and interestingly, they engaged Park N Parcel for the delivery.
I was also impressed with Ichangi packing where all the gaps were fully filled with foam peanuts and bubble wrap in 1 large box. However there was plenty of wastage as my items were pretty small but I would be reusing the brown box and packaging materials so fret not.
Glad that the stock for Sulwhasoo Gentle Cleansing Water Duo was replenished when I checked it 2 weeks after the sale started.

An ex-colleague of my hubby joined Mary Kay last year which is a direct-selling company. Every few months, she would meet up with the ex-colleagues and sell products to them. Needless to say, my hubby becomes a victim and she, upon knowing that I am a skincare lover ( no thanks to my innocent hubby ), has been pushing even more products to him.
We had multiple conflicts because of this issue. My patience is definitely wearing thin. Such direct-selling pushy antics are a major turn-off. If you have a way to solve such issues, please share it with me.
