Product Description
Struggling with the "hair hangover"? You know the signs; dull, limp, lacklustre hair that looks and feels frazzled. Percy and Reed Perfectly Perfecting Wonder Overnight Recovery works to transform your hair while you sleep.
I have previously tried out Percy and Reed Divine Shine Shampoo and Conditioner and enjoyed using them so I was looking forward to trying out this Wonder Overnight Recovery treatment product.
This ingenious, leave-in treatment absorbs instantly into dry hair (no messing!), helping to nourish, rehydrate and even to repair damage. Dreamy. Natural protein boosts the hair's ability to retain moisture, while potent conditioning agents resist humidity, fight frizz and boost shine.
Packaging, Scent and Texture
My Percy and Reed Wonder Overnight Recovery comes in a 75ml size which is just the perfect size to ascertain if its good enough to get the full retail size. The pretty woman illustration on the white tube has a whimsical vibe to it.
This product is heavily scented and lingered on the hair for some time before it disappeared. The white cream is lightweight and non-greasy. Initially I was worried about applying the cream on the hair before going to bed as it may stain my pillowcase but my worries were certainly unfounded as they literally disappeared into the hair after a few minutes.
How To Use :
1) Just before bed, apply Wonder Overnight Recovery to DRY hair, distributing it well from root to tip and concentrating on dry or damaged areas
2) Wait a few seconds and allow it to absorb
3) Settle in for a good night’s sleep – no need to protect your pillows
4) In the morning, shampoo your hair. No conditioner needed, just dry or style as desired and rejoice in your hair’s overnight transformation

Performance and Ingredients
Being new to an overnight hair treatment product, I was initially resistant to using it as I prefer to go to bed with clean hair but I was intrigued and finally caved in to using it.
Percy and Reed Wonder Overnight Recovery was such a wonderful discovery. I like the lightweight texture of the cream which felt non-greasy on the hair and on the hands. There is no need to wash my hands after applying the cream as it absorbed quickly and literally disappeared into nothingness both on hair and on hands without any after-stickiness left on the hands unlike most hair products in the market.
I have long and thick hair with frizziness and flyaways so I was hoping that the product can help to tame my hair but unfortunately, while it helped to detangle my hair slightly and making it softer, I don't really feel the "transformation" as claimed. That said, the recommendation is to use the cream from roots to tip but I only apply from the mid-length onwards which may or may not affect the results.
There isn't much difference with using it overnight or over a few hours as I have tried both methods for comparison purposes. And since I really prefer having clean hair in bed ( especially when my hair touches the pillow which is going to be in contact with my face ), I usually use it in the afternoon and rinse it off in the evening.
Conclusion
To conclude, Percy and Reed Wonder Overnight Recovery was an interesting discovery - you use it in the night and shampoo it out in the morning as it worked to transform your hair by retaining moisture, resisting humidity, fighting frizz and boosting shine.
While it helped to detangle my hair slightly and making it softer, I don't really feel the "transformation" as claimed but what don't work for me may just work for you!
Considering the price and its mediocre performance, Percy and Reed Wonder Overnight Recovery won't be a repurchase for me. If you are looking for a good hair treatment product, I highly recommend Alterna Caviar Repair Fill and Fix Treatment Masque which softens my dry hair ( after a hair colouring session ) into a soft pudding.
