Skylake Premium Oriental Herb Cool Shampoo contains Skylake’s patented herbal formulation, Polygonum Multiflorum (hé shǒu wū), peppermint and other skin-loving oriental herbal extracts that effectively stimulates hair growth, prevents hair breakage and thinning. This shampoo also helps to promote healthy scalp and hair by minimizing hair fall.
Skylake Silk Chaeun Conditioner contains natural silk cocoon extracts, Wilford Root, Skylake’s patented herbal formulation, and other skin-loving Oriental herbs that helps to calm and soothe the sensitive scalp, detangle unruly hair and restore moisture and shine to the hair, making it smooth as silk.
Packaging, Scent and Texture
Skylake Premium Oriental Herb Cool Shampoo comes in a 500ml clear plastic bottle with a pump dispenser. While I love the soothing herbal scent but unfortunately, the amber-coloured thick gel contents felt slightly drying on first use.
Skylake Silk Chaeun Conditioner also comes in the same 500ml pump bottle with a thick pink cream texture that is easy to coat the hair for a smoother conditioning process. However, the pump dispenser would not work that well when its at 15% low as it started to have difficulty in "pumping" the contents up the dispenser.
Performance
I enjoyed the cooling and minty sensation during shampoo-ing from the Herb Cool Shampoo, however, my hair felt slightly drying since day 1. On the 2nd use, it felt clumpy on the crown area during rinsing and the sensation was even worse on day 3 where my wet hair felt even more clumpy and lumpy like pasta.
I added in the Silk Chaeun Conditioner from day 3 onwards which was helpful to make the hair less clumpy. The conditioner has a sweet herbal fragrance and a pleasurable minty sensation. It is much needed for use after the shampoo for soft fluffy hair.
After a week of usage, the shampoo no longer felt that clumpy but it was still slightly drying on my thick tresses, hence a conditioner is highly recommended to accompany the shampoo for use together.

Unfortunately, as the shampoo was drying for my hair type, it may have indirectly caused my hair to be weakened as I can easily run my hands through my hair and a couple of hair strands would come loose.
The key ingredients for the shampoo are Polygonum Multiflorum (hé shǒu wū), Peppermint and the Skylake Patented Herbal Formula. Each shampoo bottle would also contain 1 to 2 pieces of Polygonum Multiflorum and indeed, my bottle contained 1 large piece of Polygonum Multiflorum.

As for the Skylake Silk Chaeun Conditioner 's claims to calm and soothe the sensitive scalp, detangle unruly hair and restore moisture and shine to the hair, it did help to calm and soothe the scalp, detangle slightly and restore moisture back to the hair.

Conclusion
To conclude, both Skylake Premium Oriental Herb Cool Shampoo and Silk Chaeun Conditioner are a decent set of hair care products for hair growth and hair loss concerns for most, however the shampoo was drying for my hair type and did not help in any hair growth or thickness of my hair. I won't repurchase these products. That said, I do really like the herbal ingredients and the minty sensation from both products.
Update 30/4/21
I received a complimentary 15ml shampoo sample size during my last purchase and used it in April 2021. Thankfully, the shampoo worked better than the full retail size after 6 months. Less clumpy and no hair fall.
