A 30ml travel sized Boscia Luminizing Black Mask was part of my Sephora purchases some time back. I was really glad to get a chance to try this as its been on my wishlist for awhile.

Made in USA, Boscia Luminizing Black Mask comes in a black tube that is pliable and easy to use. It has a slight hint of witch hazel and alcohol scent with essential oil fragrance. The black slightly runnier-like glooey contents would dry up and turned into a mask which can then be peeled off.
How To Use : Apply a thick, opaque, even layer to clean and dry skin, avoiding the eye areas. Leave on for 30 minutes or until completely dry. Gently peel off the mask from the outer edges and rinse off any residue. Follow with a moisturiser.
Performance and Ingredients
The key to using Boscia Luminizing Black Mask is to apply it liberally on skin, so that you have enough "thickness" to peel it off and maximize the benefits of the mask.
Preservative-free, gluten-free, cruelty-free, vegan and does not contain artificial fragrance and colour, the Luminizing Black Mask first applies like a runny mask, dries up and tightens before it hardens to become a mask that can be peeled off.
If you are lucky, it might come off in 1 big piece but if not, you might find some black blobs here and there and if that happens, I usually prefer to use a cotton pad to remove it as its not easy to be removed with just using water. Using a cotton pad first, removes the need for copious of water to cleanse the mask off the face.
Using it once a week, I am happy to report that this is the perfect mask to getting clearer pores, brighter skin and slightly smoother skin. Note that I don't apply on the sides of my nose where the broken capillaries are, due to the likelihood of irritation and redness.
Unfortunately, not all think the same way as the product scored 3.3 from 175 users on Makeupalley. And unlike some of them reporting that its painful during the peeling process, I don't find it so, in fact, I found it to be therapeutic, imagining that I am pulling out all the excess oil, gunk and blackheads from my skin.

To conclude, Boscia Luminizing Black Mask would be a great addition to your skincare regime if you have been struggling with large pores and excess oil. I like that there was no irritation and that my skin was visibly brightened.
However, if you have sensitive or thin skin, I wouldn't recommend this mask as it may have the tendency to do more harm than good.
