This was my first participation so I didn't expect to win but when I did, I was incredibly thankful for it. I was drawn to this brand, The Plant Base which formulates skin care with plant extracts based.

The 4 products received were The Plant Base AC Clear Magic Foam A1+ 120ml, Mielrose Petal Essence 100ml, Time Stop Collagen Ampoule 20ml and AC Clear Moisture Pure N Cream 55ml.
Instead of using refined water, The Plant Base's products are based on plant extracted water with real natural ingredients. They are obtained by distilling plants for 72 hours.
The Plant Base AC Clear Magic Foam A1+ is a cleanser said to contain lightweight and refreshing lather that rinses easily with water and protects skin from harmful drying effects of hard water. Skin would feel comfortably refreshed after cleansing, never tight, pulled or parched. Mild for skin, strong for trouble! Smooth and Rich lather cleanse up your skin clean and fresh.
My combination skin with surface dehydration does not take well to foam cleansers so I wasn't expecting much from The Plant Base AC Clear Magic Foam A1+. This blue and white cleanser comes in a green box which seems like such a contrast.

Housed in a tube, the white contents has a light soothing medicinal scent with a typical foam cleanser texture. The Magic Foam A1+ lathers up easily, creating loads of airy foam. Even though my skin wasn't tight and parched but my cheeks were slightly red while my palms were extremely drying after rinsing my face.
This certainly doesn't bode well, if I use the cleanser for the long term. However, if you are a foam cleanser fan or has acne on your face, you might do well with this cleanser. That said, my pores appeared smaller and cleaner after each cleansing.
Dermatologically tested, the box description states that this is an ideal cleansing foam for combination skin like oily on the surface but still dry inside, it deeply washes off fine dust and dead skin cells with AHA and BHA. The moisture deep cleansing formula is created for sensitive skin caused by external stimulus and frequent skin problems cleanses without irritation and keeps skin fresh.
In terms of ingredients, The Plant Base AC Clear Magic Foam A1+ contains 44% Centella Asiatica Leaf Extract to soothe skin irritation and 3 patent ingredients to effectively work and leave skin healthy-looking.

Infused with hand-picked Damask Rose Petals, the 100ml clear bottle is so pretty with the rose petals swirling in the bottle. It just looks so pretty sitting on the dressing table. The rose scent is calming and soothing and makes a lovely misting in the morning to perk you up before starting the day.
Containing 75% Rose Flower Extract as the first ingredient instead of water, The Plant Base Mielrose Petal Essence provides that burst of hydration to skin with every mist. However, the mist is rather fine so you have to place it closer to your face to ensure it gets onto the skin but beware of the misting getting into the eyes as it stings slightly.
The essence-mist type makes it a convenient application and while the mist may appears tacky on skin at first, it absorbs pretty quickly, leaving my skin smoother as I follow through with my skincare routine. Great for anti-aging and pigmentation concerns, Mielrose Petal Essence also contains moisturising and nourishing benefits for aging, mature skin and dull skin.
Overall, its not exactly that hydrating and I don't think it makes a major difference to my skin texture so it won't be a repurchase.

The key ingredients are 75% Rosa Damascena Flower Extract, Honey and Royal Jelly.
Damask Rose Extract 755 000 ppm : Damask Rose is often called the queen of flowers. Its rich Vitamin C and A soothe irritated skin, increase skin vitality, prevent skin aging and provide elasticity.
Honey Extract 80 000ppm : Honey contains B1, B2, B6 and Pantothenic, complexes of Vitamin B which helps to rejuvenate skin. Its strong moisturising and conditioning effects make skin lively all day.
French Rose Petal Powder 300mg : Improves skin texture and makes skin glow.
The Plant Base Mielrose Petal Essence also contains Niacinamide to help solve dull and dark skin and Adenosine to improve wrinkles and keep skin youthful. Water and nutrients from Damask Rose would get absorbed into skin to create moist and healthy skin.

The Plant Base Time Stop Collagen Ampoule is an anti-aging ampoule formulated with Hericium Erinaceum (Mushroom) extract (76.53%) and SYN-COLL to rejuvenate skin by preventing the formation of wrinkles and reducing their appearance and can be blended with other skincare products to boost its effect.
Formulated without Phenoxyethanol, Paraben, Pigment, Synthetic fragrance, Benzophenone, Mineral oil, TEA, BHT, BHA, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Sorbic Acid, Avonbenzone, Imidazolidinyl urea, Isopropyl Methylphenol, Isopropyl Alcohol, Thymol, Triethanolamine and Triclosan, the ampoule is housed in a 20ml plastic opaque bronze coloured bottle with a lovely reflective sheen that gave it a luxurious feel.
It has a a sturdy pipette ( which I really adore as its pretty well-built) to dispense the serum-like sticky texture that takes time to be absorbed. There is no scent but has a cooling and calming sensation during application.
You can slather the ampoule after toning the skin, like a serum or mix one pump of it with your go-to moisturizer or sunscreen. I prefer to use it like a serum both day and night as its stickiness isn't a texture I prefer to mix with other products.
My skin was hydrated, plumped and felt slightly smoother with regular usage. Overall, it looked healthier.
It pairs well with The Plant Base AC Clear Pure N Moisture Cream, however when used with Krave Beauty Oat So Simple Water Cream, it seemed to be too nourishing for my skin, giving rise to zits on the chin twice.
In terms of ingredients, The Plant Base Time Stop Collagen Ampoule contains the following....
Hericium Erinaceum : Prevents skin damage and improves skin elasticity. The nutrients in Hericium Erinaceum forms a skin barrier that protects skin from external factors while leaving a long lasting hydration. Its rich collagen also helps to rejuvenate skin.
Tremella Fuciformis : Contains firming and lifting benefits. Tremella Fuciformis allows skin to retain more water and helps prevent aging of micro blood vessels within the skin and keep blood flowing through the skin optimally. It draws moisture to the skin, like hyaluronic acid but the particles are smaller than hyaluronic acid so it penetrates the skin more easily.
Schizophyllan : Contains firming and lifting benefits. Schizophyllan is an active anti-wrinkle, anti-acne and protective in nature. It smoothens wrinkles in the deeper layers of skin by encouraging the production of collagen.
Sodium Hyaluronate : Increases skin’s capacity to restore hydration
Centella Asiatica Extract : Heal and strengthen drooping skin
Adenosine : Improve skin wrinkles as it helps to boost the levels of proteins such as collagen and elastin to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.

Surprisingly, the box is green which is such a contrast from its blue tub. The gel-cream moisturiser has a minty scent and provides a cooling and calming sensation with a burst of hydration on the skin.
Out of the 4 products, I enjoyed this moisturiser the most as I love the soft watery consistency although it stings slightly on freshly exfoliated or flaking skin. The refreshing texture makes it the perfect companion in humid weather like Singapore.
With regular use, my skin has become softer, smoother and more supple.
