What is Eoseongcho? The Eoseongcho plant (i.e. Houttuynia Cordata) is a medicinal herb that is great for tightening pores and controlling sebum production. The name of the plant come from the fishy smell of the plant’s stem and leaf. Despite its fishy scent, the plant was widely used in skincare because of its effectiveness, and it is also known as a “medicinal herb.”
Mamonde Eoseongcho Porecare Flower Lab Essence Mask is a jelly-type essence mask, made of real Eucalyptus tree pulp with a transparent Light Fit Sheet that helps to deliver key benefits as it adheres to the skin to provide long lasting moisture.
Containing 22ml essence in the soft cotton-like material, the flower essence sheet mask has a comfortable fit and adherence on skin. The cutting is good, except for a slight gap between the nose and cheeks and that it does not really cover the undereye area.
The scent is subtle and is hardly discerning. After a 20 minute masking session, my skin appeared to be well-moisturised and the sebum on my T-zone seemed to have been reduced slightly by the following morning. I can't tell the difference for the pores though.
