Prior to the mask redemption, I have never heard of LS Cosmetics, hailing from Korea, although the brand was established since 2009. You can read more about the company history here and the brands under LS Cosmetics.
Under the Luxury Soo Mask Pack range, it consists of whitening, moisture, rejuvenating, tightening and collagen masks, with each having a different colour representation.
This is a 2 step mask where you apply a cream first, followed by the mask. I am actually confused with the english translation of the cream - is it a face or eye cream? The ingredients and the stated steps instructions indicate it as an eye cream yet recommend it to be apply to the skin. Hmm..
The first step is to apply the cream which is found on the upper portion of the mask sheet. A lightweight creamy white cream that absorbs well into skin. I use it on the skin but not the eyes.
Made of Tencel, a soft material with a subdued sheen, which is derived from eucalyptus tree, it is said to be less irritating with a smooth adherence to skin. Thin and wet, Cheongpye Moisture Mask fits well to skin although the cutting of the mask was slightly wider than preferred. The area on the upper lips was pretty narrow though and does not cover the whole area.
However, I dislike the powdery scent which is commonly found in very cheap masks. It is not unpleasant but I did not quite like the scent. Just a personal preference.
There was a slight itch near the nose wings but there was no redness and I continued to layer the mask for 20 to 30 minutes. The hydration was apparent once the mask was removed. I can feel the difference before and after masking as the dehydrated sensation before masking was gone. My skin also looked instantly brighter. Is that due to the cream, the mask or both?
