I received 2 x 3ml sachets of the Sephora Cleansing Cream ( Rose ) in the goodie bag from a recent Sephora event. I thought that was a pretty great move from Sephora to get people to try their in-house brand and hopefully, they will get the full retail size.
Sephora Cleansing Cream comes in 4 different flavours
- Coconut Water: Soothing and relaxing.
- Rose: Ultra-moisturizing and brightening.
- Pomegranate: Anti-fatigue and energizing.
- Yuzu: Revitalizing and toning.
I believe Rose should be pretty popular and I am glad I received that, instead of the rest. Always in need of more moisture and whitening benefits.
I was surprised at how gentle and nourishing the cleansing cream was, regardless if its on damp or dry skin. The recommended usage, is to use it on dry skin, so that the cleansing cream will emulsify into a milky cleanser upon contact with water.
The scent was pretty strong and alittle artificial so I did not really fancy it. I also used it as a regular cleanser and not a make-up remover so I can't say how effective it will be, in removing make-up.
If not for the scent, I do think this cleansing cream makes it a value buy for anyone who likes a milky or creamy based cleanser. And definitely great for those with dehydrated skin type. However, as a make-up remover, you may want to consider getting a sample from the counter, to see if it clears away your make-up.
