How To Look Slimmer In Photos

(1) Position Your Legs Right

If you are standing : put one leg forward at a slight bend
If you are sitting : cross your legs to hide those thick thighs

(2) Stand With Your Back As Straight As Possible

Avoid slouching. Straighten your spine to appear taller and slimmer

Pull shoulders back, chest forward and gently suck stomach in.

(3) Avoid Taking Shots From A Low Angle

Camera to be above eyeline and tilted down towards your face.

Do not let the photographer snap the picture from below. This adds another 20-50 pounds to the 10 pounds automatically and annoyingly added by the camera.

(4) Stick Your Chin Out

Stick your chin out and angle it slightly upwards to avoid double chin or Pull head forward slightly to minimize any appearance of double chin

(5) Don't Wear Baggy Clothes

Clothes that are too big will make you look larger. Heavier fabrics like thick wools can make you seem heavier than you are.

Wearing an entire outfit of just one color will do the trick as well, whether it be white, beige, brown, blue or red. One color tends to elongate your figure.

From the way she stands, you can also tell that she is trying to look slim by turning partially sideways to the camera, planting one foot in front of the other and point the toe to the camera with weight on the back foot.

(6) Hold Arms Away From The Body

This keeps upper arm flab from flattening out and therefore appearing flabbier.

(7) Hide The Flabby Parts

Use objects you are holding to your advantage by placing them in front of parts of you you'd prefer to hide.
