Review : Jurlique Rose Moisture Plus Moisturising Cream Mask

Product Description
This rich, deeply hydrating treatment mask helps improve skin's moisture levels for dehydrated and dry skin.

KEY BENEFITS

  • Helps protect skin from environmental damage
  • Helps soften, soothe and rebalance dryness
  • Can be used for 10min quick treatment or overnight

Took the chance to get some Jurlique products while I was in Australia last year, and that came in the form of the Beautiful Rituals Face Care set, comprising of Rosewater Balancing Mist, Rose Moisture Plus Moisturising Cream Mask and Skin Balancing Face Oil. Gift sets are great ways to test out new products which would have been more expensive, on its own.

To be honest, Jurlique Rose Moisture Plus Moisturising Cream Mask performance is far from what it claimed to be - rich and deeply hydrating treatment mask. It is a decent mask, which requires repeated usage for hydrating the skin but definitely not the type that is so rich and deeply hydrating for parched skin. It fell short of my expectations, perhaps if it did not try to peg itself as a rich and deeply hydrating treatment mask, I would not have been so sorely disappointed.

Key Ingredients :

Rosehip Oil : Improve dehydration on skin while providing essential protection against environmental aggressors
Green Tea, Grapeseed and Tumeric Extracts : powerful antioxidant properties
Shea Butter, Avocado and Macadamia Oils : smooth and hydrate
Silica and Mica : provide a soft focus, light diffusing effect to deliver luminosity

The packaging has a minimalist feminine feel and the tube is easy to use. Some light depressions get the contents going and the mask goes onto the skin in its creamy and nourishing form. The scent smells really good - like a bandung rose drink.

After a 10 minute treatment, the white coloured creamy mask disappears into the skin, probably being absorbed into my dehydrated skin and its time to be cleanse off. I used the mask in both Singapore and Tasmania and the results are not exactly impressive.

Jurlique Rose Moisture Plus Moisturising Cream Mask d
oes not feel hydrating on first usage and is not recommended as an emergency mask. You have to use it everyday in order to reap its benefits. In Tasmania winter weather, my skin felt tight instead of being hydrated, after a 10 minute treatment.
Use it everyday on dehydrated skin to hydrate your skin, leaving it smooth and supple.

This cream mask can also be used as an overnight mask but I have never try using it this way, because I don't think it is hydrating enough to be used as an overnight mask.
