Laneige Water Bank Moisture Cream has garnered a 2016 Allure Best of Beauty Award and I can understand why, because its really awesome and is the bomb in the Laneige Essential Care Kit.
The moisture cream is white in colour, with a slippery texture ( due to the inclusions of silicon ingredients ), applies well and absorbs fast, with a velvety smooth after-feel. I felt that this product is a must-have, sealing all the goodness of the products applied prior to this, in the Laneige Essential Care Kit, namely Essential Power Skin Refiner Moisture and Essential Balancing Emulsion Moisture.
I really enjoy using the Water Bank Moisture Cream, among all the 4 products in the kit. It is a good and basic moisturiser, without any fancy claims - just a solid product and does what it is suppose to do. I used it in both wintery weather in Tasmania and humid Singapore and it works just as well. Hydrates sufficiently for my combination with surface dehydration skin type.
However, if you have severely dehydrated skin, it may do your skin good, to layer more hydrating products before applying Laneige Water Bank Moisture Cream as the last step. Note that the Water Bank Moisture Cream is meant for dry skin.
The pet peeve is, it is heavily scented, as with all Laneige products which is something I rather do without as it does nothing for the skin.
