Review : Bifesta BrightUp Cleansing Lotion

Product Description
Thoroughly removes make-up , removes skin dullness to reveal illuminating clear smooth skin. Moisturising and refreshing feel. Vitamin C and AHA's lactic acid remove dead skin cells and blackheads for clearer and brighter skin

Bifesta BrightUp Cleansing Lotion has been in the market for several years, famed for their effective and reasonably priced cleansing lotions and wipes. I have tried their BrightUp Cleansing Sheets and the Express Moist previously and both worked pretty well.

However, my current favourite is now Bioderma Sensibo H20 Micelle Solution which is gentle, with fewer ingredients. But of course, in comparison with Bifesta BrightUp Cleansing Lotion, the price difference is pretty obvious.

That said, if you are not someone who is particular with ingredients, Bifesta BrightUp Cleansing Lotion works just as well - reasonable in price, effective in removing make-up and travel-friendly to boot. It is also a 3-in-1 product, considered as a make-up remover, a toner and a moisturiser. You don't need to do anything to your face after using this lotion. Sounds like the perfect solution to the lazy girls, right?

Made in Japan and meant for dull skin, the cleansing lotion looks clearly like water, with its clear contents and there is no oily after-feel or contains any heavy fragrance. Mild and gentle, it cleanses my simple make-up ( Sunscreen + BB Cushion ) with 2 cotton pads and a few more cotton pads, if I have eye make-up.

As a personal preference, I still prefer to use a cleanser after removing make-up, just to ensure all the gunk has been removed from my skin and a moisturiser to maintain the moisture in skin. And despite it being touted as a BrightUp Cleansing Lotion, I did not really see a difference to my skin tone, after cleansing off my make-up.
