Being a big fan of Biotherm moisturisers, I was delighted to redeem a complimentary 10ml sample when Aquasource Everplump Plumping Smoothing Moisturiser was first launched. I like the idea of their sampling campaign for new products, where fans like me can get to try it first and decide if the old or new moisturiser suits my skin better.

Its hard to say no, when By Terry Blush Glace ( Frozen Petal ) stares at me with a $19 price tag instead of the usual hefty $95 price tag. That was during the Luxasia warehouse sale last year and Frozen Petal ( shade 03 ) was the only shade left.

For the uninitiated, By Terry Cellularose Blush Glace comes in 3 shades, namely Rose Melba, Flower Sorbet and Frozen Petal.

Review : Estetica Vitalift A Skin Revive Cleansing Milk

Estetica Vitalift A Skin Revive Cleansing Milk was part of a goodie bag that came from a paid Estetica seminar I attended last year. The 150ml size retails for $66. Cleansing milk is one of my favourites as a cleanser because of its gentle and nourishing properties. It can also doubled up as a make-up remover.

The Vitalift A Skin Revive Cleansing Milk is housed in a pinkish clear bottle with a metal pump dispenser which I appreciate better than a plastic dispenser. The floral scent is strong - I prefer it to be toned down. During the initial usage, I was overwhelmed by its heavy fragrance that I almost wanted to give it a miss.

As a cleanser, Estetica Vitalift A Skin Revive Cleansing Milk performs pretty well. The light milky texture glides well on skin without any tightness. It feels gentle and nourishing.

As a light make-up remover, it is effective and cleanses well. However, I can't attest to its effectiveness on heavy make-up as I usually use light make-up, ie. BB cream and loose powder. I have not tried it on eye make-up though, as I usually have a separate eye make-up remover for that.

In conclusion, I would not repurchase the Estetica Vitalift A Skin Revive Cleansing Milk as the fragrance is just too strong for my likes and I really don't see any benefit in fragrance being added to skincare, except for irritation to sensitive skin. It may be a feel-good effect for most ladies but it does absolutely nothing for the skin.

During the last Christmas season, I bought both the Yes To Blueberry Smooth and Shine shampoo and conditioner from ASOS since this brand isn't available on our local shores. Both products are stored in the same flick-top cap opening and a light squeeze will get the contents out easily.

Yes To Blueberry Smooth and Shine shampoo has a citrus scent which reminds me of lemons mixed with blueberries - pretty uplifting to the senses. The contents are runny but gives a good lather and cleanses well, however it seems to make my hair drop more than normal.

Yes To Blueberry Smooth and Shine conditioner has a subtle citrus scent than the shampoo, with  more concentrated contents that are more to a creamy texture. It applies well, however, it seems to give rise to more frizziness, which runs contrary to its claims.

Both hair products made my hair soft but weaker ( more hair fall ) and more frizziness. Will not repurchase, despite the pocket friendly prices and 97% natural ingredients.
