Free from Parabens, SLS and Phthalates.
During the last Christmas season, I bought both the Yes To Blueberry Smooth and Shine shampoo and conditioner from ASOS since this brand isn't available on our local shores. Both products are stored in the same flick-top cap opening and a light squeeze will get the contents out easily.

Yes To Blueberry Smooth and Shine shampoo has a citrus scent which reminds me of lemons mixed with blueberries - pretty uplifting to the senses. The contents are runny but gives a good lather and cleanses well, however it seems to make my hair drop more than normal.

Yes To Blueberry Smooth and Shine conditioner has a subtle citrus scent than the shampoo, with  more concentrated contents that are more to a creamy texture. It applies well, however, it seems to give rise to more frizziness, which runs contrary to its claims.

Both hair products made my hair soft but weaker ( more hair fall ) and more frizziness. Will not repurchase, despite the pocket friendly prices and 97% natural ingredients.

Review : Yes To Cucumber Soothing Body Wash

Product Description
Yes To Cucumbers for their magical calming power and yes to green tea for helping your body get its zen on. You love the soft, sensual glow of your clean, sensitive skin. So do we! Yes To Cucumbers calming shower gel softly cleanses, calms and soothes your sensitive skin, while refreshing and revitalizing your spirit.

Yes To Carrots lipbalm was a winner in my heart years ago and when I realized ASOS was stocking up on Yes To Cucumber Soothing Body Wash with an attractive sale price of 4 pounds, naturally, it goes into my cart.

Made in USA, formulated without parabens, petroleum and SLS and consists of 97% natural ingredients, the 280ml sized tube ( different from the picture ) is large and cumbersome but fits perfectly on the bathroom top. Once the cap is flicked open, the contents flow out easily without much messiness.

The light scent of cucumbers with good lathering makes the body wash a refreshing bath all year round. It cleanses gently without any squeaky-clean sensation or after drying-feel.
A good decent body wash product.

Key Ingredients :
Organic Carrots are brimming with Beta-Carotene, a natural antioxidant that protects skin from damaging free radicals
Sweet Almond Oil is an excellent natural moisturizer that lends a soft beautiful glowing touch to your skin.

I love my lipbalms from Yes To Carrots so when I chanced upon a promotion of their hair products on ASOS, I decided to add in to my cart. The brand is not available on our local shores so I just have to get it overseas.

At 500ml each, the products are truly value for money but the sizes of both products are pretty cumbersome and not portable in our bathrooms due to its sheer sizes. Both hair products made a lovely scent on my long tresses though the scent did not linger for long.

The shampoo has a lotion consistency and foams pretty well, despite being SLS-free. In fact, I enjoyed using the shampoo. The packaging is similar for both products with a small gap opening on the flick top dispenser but on the conditioner, because of its thick and creamy texture, it pools up around the gap opening and get stuck. So after more than 50% used up, I found myself having to unscrew the cap to get the conditioner contents out.

With both the shampoo and conditioner usage, it made my hair softer and fuller but more frizzy. With the inclusion of the conditioner, it makes my hair softer as compared to skipping it. The hair products did not moisturize my hair totally but did not stripped it dry, just keep my hair decently clean.

The shampoo scored 3.6 from 15 users on Makeupalley.

Review : Yes To Carrots Lip Butter

Product Description
A beautiful smile will brighten your face, but what brightens a beautiful smile? Your lips - soft, smooth and shining! Yes To Carrots USDA Organic Lip Butters conditions, invigorates, and revitalizes your lips, moisturizing to keep them the smoothest and softest they can be.
Its made of all natural ingredients, Paraben, Petroleum & Phthalate Free and there is no animal testing involved.

I have previously reviewed the Citrus flavour but its not the best flavour I like, though its moisturising enough. This is actually the first flavour I tried from the brand a couple of years back, when Watsons was running a promotion before. Subsquently, I ordered it online as I couldn't find it in Singapore anymore. I have never been a big fan of any lipbalm until this came along. I love it and if there's anyone who's looking for a great lipbalm, this would be my choice for her. Its totally awesome and very emollient. I haven't been able to find a better one than this!

Its made of natural ingredients, it made my lips soft and it keeps it soooo well-moisturised. It doesn't have any yucky carrots scent if thats what you are worrying about. Its just a subtle and pleasant scent, as far as I am concerned. An awesome lip butter at just US$2.99, its definitely worth it.
It contains carrot, pumpkin, orange, melong extracts, olive fruit oil, coconut oil, jojoba seed, sunflower seeds, vitamin E, beewax and shea butter.
All the goodness in it, how can you possibly hate it?

It scored 9.3 from 23 users at Total Beauty

Review : Yes To Carrots Lip Butter - Citrus

Product Description
A beautiful smile will brighten your face, but what brightens a beautiful smile? Your lips - soft, smooth and shining! Yes To Carrots USDA Organic Lip Butters conditions, invigorates, and revitalizes your lips, moisturizing to keep them the smoothest and softest they can be.

Its made of all natural ingredients, paraben, petroleum and phthalate free and there is no animal testing

I have not been reviewing lips balms for an awfully long time because it took me ages to finish one.
Previously, I have been using a Badger Lip balm but there was a weird scent which I have since tossed it aside, no review was done for that, since I am not sure if that scent is associated with all Badger lip balms as I was new to the brand.
Anyway, back to this brand, it was something I have tried it out before when it was available in Watsons Singapore but somehow I could not seem to find it anywhere now. Subsequently, I went ahead to order on Drugstore because I really love their lipbalms. Before I started out on natural formulations, I was always buying those mass-produced brands available in Watsons and Guardian but after a recent scare of eczema on the lips, my lips seem to have form a barrier against those un-natural formulations. Even my expensive neutrogena lip balm failed to soothe it. It was swollen and red. I was never keen in spending more than $6 on lip balms so at that time, Neutrogena lipbalms were considered as expensive to me. So imagine my horror that, my lips turned red, burning and hot when I used Neutrogena lip balm for the first time, after my eczema flare-up was subdued. I continued to use it, unknowingly because I never suffered any reactions to my lipbalms before so it was a surprise that I eventually found out that the culprit was my lipbalm.

So now, all my lip balms have to be of natural formulations which is how this review came about. This is a flavour I never try before but it turned out that its not exactly a flavour I like to use on my lips, though that is the only thing that I do not like about it.

I personally feel that all Yes To Carrots lip butter are super-nourishing and conditioning for my lips without the waxy and greasy after-feel. And its such an absolute steal at just US$2.99
It goes on smooth on the lips, non-sticky and non-yucky.
There is absolutely nothing I hate about their lip butters except for this citrus flavour which does not go well with me. Its just a personal preference, of course. You may like it better than me.

An amazing score of 9.6 at Total Beauty by 22 users.
