Being a big fan of Biotherm moisturisers, I was delighted to redeem a complimentary 10ml sample when Aquasource Everplump Plumping Smoothing Moisturiser was first launched. I like the idea of their sampling campaign for new products, where fans like me can get to try it first and decide if the old or new moisturiser suits my skin better.
Biotherm moisturisers are products which I relied on faithfully, whenever I travel because my skin tends to get erratic due to the different temperature and humidity overseas hence I always need something to calm it down before it gets worse. Unlike others who utilize samples of any brands for overseas usage, I only bring reliable skincare products which I trusted. And Biotherm moisturisers always come to my mind.
The fragrance is strong, as expected for main streamed brands and hopefully they will look into reducing the fragrance factor in time to come. I know of some people who buy products because of its fragrances but in actual fact, fragrances do nothing to help the skin and may even aggravate sensitive skin. It is a just a physiological feel-good factor.
Biotherm Aquasource Everplump Plumping Smoothing Moisturiser is milky white in colour, with a fresh texture that goes onto the skin with a tingly sensation and makes the skin feels smooth ( because of dimethicone, listed as the 3rd ingredient in the list ) without any greasiness or stickiness.
I am surprised to learn that Biotherm Aquasource Everplump Plumping Smoothing Moisturiser can be used on the eye contours, although I have never try it so far.
The inclusion of this product into my skincare regime, which includes Biotherm essence and serum has made my skin feel and look much smoother and clearer, so much so that my hubby has commented on it. And you know how males can be so daft about things like that, unless it is a tablet.
Hydration levels has improved slightly too. The product is said to provide a 72 hour lasting hydration after application but I have yet to see such an astounding difference on my dehydrated skin, however, Biotherm Aquasource Everplump Plumping Smoothing Moisturiser still wins my heart as a no-frills product.
