Evolve Bio-Retinol Gold Mask was one of the products from my Glow Starter Kit purchase from Naturisimo. The kit consists of OSKIA Super-C Beauty Capsules, 100% Pure Bright Eye Mask, Pai Light Work Rosehip Cleansing Oil amongst other products.
I really enjoyed using my first Evolve product - Evolve Organic Gentle Cleansing Melt and was looking forward to trying out this bio-retinol gold mask.
Packaging, Scent and Texture
Evolve Organic Beauty Bio-Retinol Gold Mask comes in both 30ml and 60ml size and mine was the 30ml size. There was a sticker with "Batch : 2014" on the bottom of my tub which made me concerned enough to write in to Naturisimo and was assured that the number isn't referring to the year but manufactured on 14.01.22 and best before 14.01.25. Phew!
Shimmery gold in colour like Cleopatra, this gold mask has a thick lush appearance that applies with a runny but slightly sticky consistency. It has a naturally-occurring scent.
How to Use :
Apply a thick layer onto skin after cleansing. Leave for 5-10 minutes. Add water to transform the gold mask into a milky texture and then rinse off. Warning: do not add water into the jar as this will alter the consistency of your new face mask.

I tried using Evolve Organic Beauty Bio-Retinol Gold Mask as an in-shower mask and out of shower and noticed that the effects are more pronounced when I applied on dry skin. It dries up within 5 minutes and I just leave it on for another 10 minutes before rinsing off. It does requires copious of water to rinse off, so I prefer to to use 2 damp cotton pads to cleanse them off before rinsing with water, for a quicker process.
There was an immediate brightening of skin and pores are cleaner and smaller. Makeup goes on smoothly and beautifully thereafter. Simply love this mask! The perfect prep before you go to work on Monday, after a tiring weekend.

To conclude, Evolve Organic Beauty Bio-Retinol Gold Mask has been a surprising gem. It made my skin look brighter and less dull-looking. Pores are clean and small.
I like to reach out for this mask when my face looked tired. It is also the perfect prep on Sunday nights before going back to office on Mondays.
