Review of Dr. Botanicals Parsley Age Refresh Day Moisturiser
Product Description
Enriched with herbal extracts, Dr. Botanicals Parsley Age Refresh Day Moisturiser aims to protect, hydrate and refresh your daily complexion.

Main Ingredients :
1) Parsley is a herb rich in antioxidants and vitamins such as vitamin C that nourish and protect the skin from environmental stress.
2) Pullulan is algae based ingredient high in antioxidants. It has film-forming properties that aim to firm the look of the skin and to improve skin’s overall complexion.
3) Aloe Vera aims to hydrate and nourish the skin. It is also well known for skin calming and soothing properties.

I first came across Dr. Botanicals when there was a sale online, where I originally purchased a mask but Dr. Botanicals Parsley Age Refresh Day Moisturiser was sent, instead. A refund was provided which was a nice gesture but I was still disappointed as I am now being forced to use its moisturiser which wasn't my original intention.

Made in UK, Dr. Botanicals is 100% natural, 100% vegan and cruelty-free. It comes in a brown jar with an apothecary feel and is packed in an eco-friendly brown cardboard box that can be recycled. Their products are not tested on animals.

I have previously tried out Dr. Botanicals 100% Natural Ultra Concentrated Hydration Mask which wasn't too impressive so I did not set much expectations for the day moisturiser.

Texture of Dr. Botanicals Parsley Age Refresh Day Moisturiser

The Parsley Age Refresh Day Moisturiser has a lightweight creamy texture with a soothing herbal scent. While it applies effortlessly and sinks in well but it has a subtle spicy sensation occasionally, especially after applying Be Plain Cicaful Ampoule.

It is housed in a jar which may compromise its effectiveness, due to oxidation of ingredients and bacterial contamination. However, I have not experience that, during the 2 months usage.

That said, Dr. Botanicals Parsley Age Refresh Day Moisturiser is too mild for my skin type ( combination with dehydrated surface ). It does not hydrate sufficiently and my skin still feel parched and peeled at times. It may be more suitable for those with oily or normal skin type.
