Dr Morita's Hyaluronic Acid Essence Mask, in addition to contain more Hyaluronic Acid and moisturizing properties, it includes Cucumber extract, Ceramide, Marine Collagen, Licorice, Seaweed and other natural composite moisturizing ingredients. It aids in ensuring all-day hydration for your skin, and effectively smoothens out fine lines and prevents aging of skin.
A good friend of mine has gifted me with 2 sheets of Dr. Morita Hyaluronic Acid Facial Mask, from her Taiwan trip. This mask is also highly recommended from a make-up artist my friend engaged recently.
It has been a while since I last used Dr. Morita masks so it was timely that I revisited the brand where it was previously selected for the 2014 Miss Hong Kong Pageant as the specific facial mask used. You can read more the brand here.
Made in Taiwan, Dr. Morita Hyaluronic Acid Facial Mask has such a pretty feminine illustration on its sheet packaging. It has a thin and comfortable material with a cold and refreshing sensation. The cutting fits well, except that the cutout for the lip area is slightly smaller than preferred.
However, unlike other facial sheet masks, the Hyaluronic Acid Facial Mask has no slits beside the nose area, hence there is no gap and is able to cover all areas, except that it tends to lift up slightly, so you have to "press" on it, if you mind.
You can also use it in the following ways during summer and winter.
After using both masks within the same week ( it is summer all year round in Singapore ), I can say that I am certainly impressed with its performance! Other than it hydrates very well, my skin is much smoother and brighter!
In terms of ingredients, Dr. Morita Hyaluronic Acid Facial Mask has a high concentration of Sodium PCA which is said to effectively improve rough surface and restore softness and elasticity to skin, according to this research study here.
Niacinamide, as the 5th ingredient in the list, has proven to help in reductions in fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmented spots, red blotchiness, and skin sallowness (yellowing). In addition, elasticity was improved. Read more in this research study.
In conclusion, if you have dry or dehydrated skin, I would highly recommend Dr. Morita Hyaluronic Acid Facial Mask to you. And if you have normal skin, you can also use the mask to maintain the hydration level. Love the mask!
