I received 3 complimentary Be Plain Bamboo Healing Mask Sheet from 0.8L some time back. Said to contain all the benefits of what facial essence have, it helps to balance the skin after cleansing and toning, add hydration and prime the skin.

Formulated with super-soothing bamboo extract, Be Plain Bamboo Healing Mask Sheet is said to help minimize pores, soothe irritation and reduce puffiness. So does it really work? Lets find out!

Made of a soft, thin and comfortable 100% Natural Bamboo Cellulose material, the Bamboo Healing Mask does not have much of a scent and has a moderate cutting that fits reasonably well. It has a shorter nose flap and a slight gap between the nose and cheeks.

The key ingredient, Bamboo extract, is known as a natural antioxidant which protects the skin from oxidative stress and damaging UV rays that will not only prematurely age skin but also irritates acne-prone skin.

According to this research study, Bamboo extract has been proven to contain strong antioxidant capability where it helps to fight free radicals that cause premature wrinkles. On top of that, it also has good sun screening efficacy, excellent moisturizing effect and is able to help reduce melanin content, as exhibited in this research journal.

However, since Be Plain Bamboo Healing Mask Sheet is a sheet mask that is on the skin for less than 30 minutes, the effects would not be as effective as a skincare product, but still, Bamboo Extract is an excellent ingredient for the skin.

Each facial mask sheet contains 0% of distilled water but fully charged with 82% Bambusa Vulgaris Water which improves your skin condition gradually. With Bambusa Vulgaris Water, Allantoin, Panthenol and three layers of Sodium Hyaluronate, it helps your skin to calm quickly and get long-lasting moisture.

I love the instant calming and soothing effect. By the 3rd sheet mask, I can see that my skin is brighter with the dark circles being more prominent and skin is well-hydrated with flakiness minimized.
