Victoria Secret Angel model Miranda Kerr, ex-wife to actor Orlando Bloom and a mother to a 5 year old son, is known for looking flawless all the time. She is a holistic health practitioner with her own skincare brand, KORA Organics.

Some of her beauty tips are as follows : 

Warm lemon with water

Miranda drinks a glass of warm water with the juice of half an organic lemon each morning. Warm lemon water in the morning helps kick start the digestion process for the rest of the day. It is also a morning ritual that cleanses the system, boosts your immune system and balances pH levels because lemons are very alkalizing. They are also abundant in vitamin C, which promotes healing and health.

Exfoliate with a body brush

Miranda is a firm believer in dry body brushing. It is an invigorating way to aid circulation and lymphatic drainage, which helps with detoxification. Before showering, use a dry body brush with firm bristles and brush yourself from your legs upwards. It may hurt to do this at first, but you will find that it is a great way to exfoliate your body.

My take : I cheated. I used it on wet skin because the body brush is just too painful on dry skin. End result - smooth skin on thighs. Yes, I only used it on my thunder thighs, hoping to improve circulation, aid in lymphatic drainage and perhaps toned and smaller thighs. But well, yet to see results, mainly because I have not been doing it regularly. 

Review : Esfolio Moisture Soothing Gel Mist ( 100% Aloe Vera )

My aunt came back with a Esfolio Moisture Soothing Gel Mist ( 100% Aloe Vera ) for me after a trip to Korea. Prior to receiving it, I have never hear of the brand before. You can check out the range of their products on their site.

Sturdy and compact, the clear green bottle has a robust spray that dispenses the mist finely. Although I have yet to see or feel a difference to skin, but it definitely feels refreshing and is suitable for facial oil or cream application as the contents are usually much better absorbed on damp skin.

Review : Pure Smile Gold Essence Mask

Product Description
The facial mask contains Ceramide 3, Vitamin E, Collagen and Hyaluronic acid which can effectively moisturize and protect your skin, and give your skin elasticity. 

Gold Essence sheet masks are known for its anti-wrinkle properties.

I purchased a sheet of the Pure Smile Gold Essence Mask for $1.66 from Japan Skin ( ceased ) late last year. Solely sold in Japan, but manufactured in Korea, Pure Smile is a pretty popular brand both in retail and online.

The sheet mask, made of a soft comfortable material with medium thickness, has a perfumery-scent. It is very moist, adheres well to skin, and comes with tiny eye flaps that barely covers the eyes. Interestingly, the nose area has a split in the center, probably done, for a more comfortable fit. 

Pure Smile Gold Essence Mask left my skin feeling fresh and radiant. Perfect to be used, when I have an event the following morning.
